A Hoot of a Time at the Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge!
Forget those cramped, cookie-cutter cabins – the Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge redefines mountain escapes. Picture this: a spacious haven perched on 2.5 acres, where soaring windows frame breathtaking Smoky Mountain vistas, and every comfort whispers, "Stay a while."
Ample space for every feathered friend: Whether you're a solo adventurer, a family reunion crew, or a gaggle of friends seeking weekend fun, the lodge has room for all. Five bedrooms, each with private balconies and access to luxurious bathrooms, ensure nobody gets ruffled. The king-size beds are clouds disguised as mattresses, and the bunk room with its comfy twins is perfect for little owls to nestle in.
Amenities fit for a mountain king: The lodge isn't just about breathtaking views (though, trust me, they'll take your breath away!). A fully equipped kitchen with top-notch appliances lets you whip up feasts, while the game room promises friendly competition with pool tables and arcade games. Cozy up by the fireplace on chilly nights, or soak in the hot tub under a blanket of stars – pure magic!
Location, location, location: Nestled in Wears Valley, the lodge offers the best of both worlds. Secluded enough for quiet contemplation, it's also just a hoot (see what I did there?) away from the excitement of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Hit the shops one day, conquer Dollywood the next, and return to your mountain sanctuary for starry-night barbecues on the deck.
A symphony for the senses: From the sunrise painting the mountaintops gold to the hooting owls serenading you at dusk, the lodge is a sensory feast. Breathe in the crisp mountain air, listen to the wind whispering through the pines, and let the worries melt away like mist under the morning sun.
The verdict? The Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge is more than just a cabin; it's an experience. It's a place where families reconnect, friends make memories, and adventurers find their peace. Book your stay, and prepare to be enchanted!
P.S. Don't forget to say hello to the resident bears.

Read moreThe cabin is beautiful and well appointed. However, the property management company and the owner are non-responsive to guest complaints and concerns. At $1000/night we expected luxury and we’re sadly disappointed.
EDIT Since Google doesn’t allow for me to respond to the owner’s reply I’ll do it here. Having no running water from early Saturday morning through checkout Sunday morning is unacceptable. We were also told this same problem happened the week before. So this is a problem that was known and you still allowed the cabin to continue business as usual. Not only was there no communication from you or your management company ALL DAY Saturday to update us on the status, the offer to move us was not made until 9 PM on Saturday night and the replacement cabin was 20 minutes away. We did ask for compensation as we spent $1000/night. If I wanted to camp I could have done it for a lot less expense. Based on how the situation was handled by you and Summit, why would we want to have a discount on a future stay...
Read moreSuch a beautiful cabin, but unfortunately the water did not work, which was a huge inconvenience for my family and I! We were extremely excited to have a fun and relaxing weekend together, but the water pressure and issues made it a very uncomfortable and challenging weekend. From not being able to use the bathrooms, to the showers not working properly, to not having water flow to clean or cook or even brush your teeth, and having to purchase a ton of water and more to keep navigating through all of the cabin’s water problems…that was definitely unexpected, and even more uncomfortable personally for me and my 2 small children. I appreciate the maintenance team who came over daily to try and reset the water the best way he could, but I totally didn’t anticipate on such a massive issue like this for over 10 guests to have to deal with during their stay for vacation. I’m thankful that our family and everyone was still safe, and I truly hope it gets fixed for any potential families and guests who chooses to book...
