I purchased an item on 10/8/2023 from the Garrison, MN. I live in Pillager so I returned the item to the Pillager store on 11/13/2023. The barcode on my receipt was not working Janelle told me they could not accept the return since it was past the 30 days. She told me I could take the item to the original store and they may not refund me (roughly 45 minutes from my house). I asked if she could return it without a receipt, she said since I had the receipt she would not be able to do that. I left and researched the return policy, I returned five minutes later with the return policy which states 90 days, it’s been 35 days since the original purchase. She stated she would return it this one but would not refund me again. I stated I beg corporate would love to know how customers were treated. She stated customers are treated great it’s the ones who come in and treat employees bad who are treated poorly. She asked the other employee for a DG gift card, I stated I have the receipt and the original form of payment. She stated it would be refunded to a DG gift card without the receipt and I would only get the sale price. I asked who the owner was and she stated she was the owner of this location. I stated I have the receipt so it should be refunded to the original form she said she would refund it for the current sale price. (The Christmas items are not currently on sale). I began to call corporate and she was all of a sudden able to give me a refund to the original form of payment. I asked for a receipt and she denied me a receipt which showed the return, I began to call corporate and she was able to provide a photocopy of my original receipt which had the returned item on it. I stated I would be calling corporate and she stated she has worked there for 10 years and it’s been that way then she walked away and stated she would tell her DM I was in there, I asked what DM was and she stated I will let my DM know you were in here and how...
Read moreSuppose to be open 8a, now after 8 and doors locked. Sign on door in yellow says "run to bank be right back" and other 2 signs on door says "due to staff shortage we will be closing at 12pm today". Not sure how old signs are but why can't you have proper staff. Is this a managment issue, is there a issue with manager inside store what's going on.
Most times I come here there seems to be something happening like can't sell tobacco products because they changed case over and are waiting for key well 5 months later I still get that story why can't they get a key to be able to sell those products...
Well what a loss of customers also from 8a to now 820a I have watched 12 vehicles pull in some parked and seen sign left right away and some tried to go in but locked. I talked with few of them that seemed to be upset and they claim it's ongoing every day.
Well I finally got into store at 830am, female drove in a dark color van and her an another guy got out. Guy started that van in pics and left she open store I don't believe they no bank run was the think must have been breakfest or something with that guy, she had no bank bag or money. when they finally open doors, this place was mess inside and hard to get around because crap was in the way.
Update I guess I can't add photos. Also note I arrived at 750a so from 750a to 830a it was bank run and closed, bank is not even block away. Also note the employee inside must have been manager, I waited at counter to check out for awhile before she came, she complained of it being hard to get stuff done when your the only employee and that all her other 4 employees just up an quit kinda unprofessional to talk of that and...
