If I could put less than one star I would. We are traveling from Ft Myers to Miami - in the middle of the day - and the AC doesn't work properly so it's really hot. The bus driver says he can't do anything about it. The panels above us are dripping water on us and my computer continually. There is NO Wifi and I needed to work since it's a 3 hour trip. We advance purchased seats so we could sit in front, but the patrons already on the bus and the driver said it's a different bus than was booked and there are no assigned seats. And this trip was 3x more expensive than the other times we have done this ride. I would pick a different company - both Flix bus and Escot busses (the bus we ended up on) have had terrible customer service as well and only offered me a 20% discount for the next ride - absolutely unacceptable! They should at least refund 50% of our 2 tickets purchased as the ONLY thing we got from this was the ride. Barely AC, No WIFI, no assigned seats that we pre-paid for, bathroom was discussing and we were dripped on the whole time by the ceiling panel. Read moreI had Donna as my driver today for a 2nd grade field trip. She was the rudest, most inappropriate driver I have ever had on a field trip. First, she stated I had alcohol in my yeti cup. (It was coffee at 8AM in the morning.) Then she was rude to the teacher about inserting a video. “Well, are you going to do it before I start driving? I’m not helping. I don’t know how to do it.” Then during the drive she turned around to me and said, “you will lower your tone.” When I looked at her confused, she repeated, “you need to be quiet!” This was is an extremely aggressive and rude tone. I was honestly shocked. The video playing was extremely loud, much louder than myself and the mom I was speaking to. Two other moms looked extremely surprised by the outburst. Then when the mom and I were boarding after the trip, Donna proceeded to tell several moms and the teacher that we were not allowed to sit in the same seats and had to sit in the back. This was highly inappropriate, embarrassing and downright rude. I have written the company and will update if they contact me about actions taken regarding this behavior. When booking with ESCOT, gone are the days of worrying if your bus and driver will show. Our driver Ed was absolutely PERFECT. He would text me when he was en-route and then when he arrived. He became like one of our group during our 8-day field trip. Ed even offered to assist us on his own time, using his own car, during off-days if we needed something like medications or other supplies during our stay. This unprecedented service makes ESCOT the ONLY Motorcoach line my school in Massachusetts will consider using when we have school groups in Florida. Leah Ann and Karen are the extremely helpful booking agents I work with in their office. There is no such thing to them as "Can't do!" Every request we have ever made was accommodated! Many times this has been true when other companies said they were not available. ESCOT strives, even with short notice, to find an affordable way to accommodate our travel needs.
