Dont expect Dave Keefer or any employees to be welcoming when you walk in this shop. I purchased a glock from him some years ago and wanted to stop back in for some accesories and magazines. After waiting 45 minutes to be noticed and walked past 20 times I ask him for the magazines I called ahead of time about . Fresh off of work I had on a work shirt with a gunshops name on it . The owner calls me out as if Im not allowed to wear this in his store . “ well why didnt you get it there ?” I left on the spot . Seems like the owner has backwardw morals and values towards how he treats customers. Ive heard some questionable comments made by employees about blacks and hispanice as well. I walked im considering buying a gun as well as my magazines and ammo but after being shown by the owner I was clearly not welcome , I decided these people don’t deserve my hard earned money. Great place to hang out. Great service Dave knows what he is doing. Only downside is that he can be a bit slow due to being more easy going. It’s not a bad thing but if you want really fast service might not be the place to go. Works cheap had him fix a firing pin on a 100 year old shotgun and because of age he had to make a pin. I was ready to shell out more than the gun was worth be he surprised me it only cost $15 not sure how he does that also pricing on some guns beats Cabelas by a good bit. He’s also very level headed when it comes to selling a product does not try to sell you some thing more than you need. But will recommend something that’s good. There’s good scoops for 200. It's an awesome experience to go to Keefer's. Dave and Kim and the employees are amazing and so nice. My family has been buying guns from them for many generations and we always go back for more. Have a question about a gun just ask they will tell you everything you need to know. He always has a wide selection of firearms from pistol to revolver to shotguns, Rifles and muzzleloaders. if you want a gun and he doesn't have it in stock he will order it for you!
