I regretfully recount my harrowing experience with Pine Grove Auto, and I caution anyone in search of a reliable vehicle to steer clear of this dealership. My ordeal began in November of 2022 when I purchased a vehicle from them, which, in less than three months, turned into a nightmarish debacle.
On February 8th of this year, a mere three months after the purchase, my newly acquired vehicle unexpectedly stopped running. To my dismay, the cause of the breakdown was traced back to a sealant placed in the head gasket by Pine Grove Auto, which ultimately led to a blown engine. The consequences were dire, and despite their warranty, the damages were only partially covered. I was left with a staggering repair bill of over $6,000, while the warranty company merely contributed $4,000, leaving me with the burden of shouldering more than $10,000 in total damages.
When I initially purchased the vehicle, I explicitly expressed to Jamie and Joe that I was pregnant and needed a safe and dependable car for myself and my daughter. Regrettably, their promises fell flat, and the vehicle's failure not only left us stranded but also posed a significant risk to our safety. Since February 8th, I have been without transportation, relying on others to get us where we need to go, while still being burdened with the loan for the now-defunct car.
My story is not unique, as I found out when I stumbled upon a review from Edward Taylor ten months ago. His unfortunate encounter mirrored mine, describing Pine Grove Auto as a complete rip-off with shady practices. Despite the valid warning, the dealership's response was dismissive and unprofessional, further highlighting their lack of accountability and concern for customers.
The root of the problem lies in Pine Grove Auto's willingness to sell vehicles unfit for the road. According to a credible source at a real dealership, these cars are sent to auction because legitimate dealerships deem them unsafe for public use. This negligence not only reflects poorly on the integrity of Pine Grove Auto but also endangers the lives of unsuspecting buyers.

And what do you know they played me... said that there was no warranty and that it was sold as is! So now I gotta pay out of my pocket to get it looked at by chevrolet and repaired. He even included some cosmetic repairs, as well as an up-to-date inspection, and repairs that I was concerned about. these repair requests were included in the low price. They did not charge me more.
