We will be boarding my new 9 month old Shephard Raven there and wanted to visit. This place is every dogs dream. Not only boarding, she will be trained starting October 14th with Travis and staff. Laurie (owner/trainer) was very informative. Took us around to show us where Ravens boarding stay would be and showed and explained in depth how her training works. Travis and his wife (sorry, I'm horrible with names) brain surgeries do that. they not only seem very knowledgeable, but they actually love what they do and love the animals. They all seem to have the puppies/dogs' best interest at heart. Great property, great play areas, and the way they introduce other dogs and socialize them are great. I am super excited for Ravens training and look forward to being involved throughout the entire process. Thanks for making me feel comfortable about where she is being boarded and trained. I have full confidence she will learn her lessons well.

Raven graduated today 11/15/2024. I can not say enough about Travis, the trainer, and the staff. To be honest, Raven, being a puppy, has high energy, I was skeptical. But after the 1st visit of full training, I quickly changed my mind. I was so impressed with how compassionate and knowledgeable Travis was about his training of the dogs in and out of there. But to see Ravens progress after the second visit and our training with Travis, I was simply amazed and grateful we came upon this wonderful place. She had a 4 week training and is now home with us. Happily, but a different puppy, in a good way. She's still happy, Miss Raven, and has learned so much, and now, as Travis taught us, it's our turn to continue being consistent, so she continues to learn, and it becomes easy. But Travis did the hard work for us, basically. To anyone who has had bad experiences with other training facilities as we have had, rest assured this is the place to bring your furbaby. Laurie, the owner and the rest of the staff, also make it easier for you to leave your dog knowing she's in good hands. You don't have to worry about the "what ifs." I'm so very happy and, again, I highly recommend Dog Pond Kennels for your training and boarding needs. Not to mention, the place is gorgeous, as you can see in the following pictures. We have a 10 month make cockapoo who had resource guarding issues as well as jumping up on guest, and picking up anything that wasn't nailed down. We brought him to Travis at Dog Pond for the 4 week program. Best decision we ever made. We would come every week or so for Travis to work with us and the pup.
