I went there on Dec. 28, 2018. I ordered 2 recliners and a chest of drawers. The sales person told me that the chest of drawers was due in on Dec. 31, 2018 but that was just an estimate, "could be sooner could be later". On Jan. 2, 2019 I call the store to check on the status of my order (choose pick up option). The lady who answered the phone told me that my order wasn't in yet but the estimated date hadn't changed and it should come in any day now. I call back on Jan. 6th to check on my order and was told that my recliners were in but not the chest of drawers. So we head to the store (coming from Tallahassee). When we get there we find out that our recliners are in NOT there and won't be there until Tuesday Jan. 8th, because they only have a truck that comes on Tuesdays and Fridays (something the sales person did NOT mention!). I once again asked about the chest of drawers. The lady looked it up and said it was now due to come in on Jan. 11,2019 so it would be delivered Tuesday Jan.15, 2019. I was upset that they originally gave me an estimated date (Dec. 31, 2018) that was no where near close to what they were telling then. I was then told "that's just the way it is"! Very unprofessional response and very unprofessional service! Our recliners were delivered on Jan. 8th, the chest of drawers was NOT delivered on Jan. 15, 2019! Around 2pm on Jan. 15th I called the store again because I hadn't heard from them and my furniture was due to be delivered. The lady who answered the phone tells me that the new estimated date is Jan. 24th! Almost a month after they originally estimated, and here it is Jan. 25, 2019 and I haven't received a call from the store telling me that it's in!!!!! The dresser alone cost $1,000. I bought it for my 18 year old daughter who will be moving out soon and I wanted her to have a nice solid chest of drawers that would hold up through moving. The one she has now is falling apart and desperately needs to be replaced as soon as possible! I am beyond frustrated at this point and it looks like I'll have to buy another one somewhere else if I want to replace her's any time soon!!! Such a disappointment, I'll never...

Problem one:Â they had a special no sales tax but I was charged sales tax.
Problem two: I returned a dinning room set. Several days went by an they hadn't credited my credit card. I call to inquire why, I was told by manager Jason Feril that they didn't have my card number. Shouldn't common sense would be to call me to get my card number? Problem 3: I went into the store to purchase a sofa for my mother who has dementia who was with me at the time of the purchase. I explained to the salesperson that she sometimes will urinate on the sofa so I needed something that could was handle the pee. He advised this particular sofa that I purchased. He advse if she peed the only thing I have to do is wipe it off. That wasn't true, the pee soaked into the sofa. Now the sofa smell of urine.
Problem 4: I purchased the furniture protection plan. My mom peed on the sofa.  I call the number Jason Feril(the manager)gave me to call(protection plan) to report the urine smell in the sofa. When I called to report the urine smell in the sofa, they advise me they didn't have a record that I paid for the plan. Again I call Jason Feril.  They sent someone out but the unrine smell is still there. When I called(protection plan)on 3/22/23 to advise them the smell was still in the sofa, the rep advised me the tech who came out stated he removed the stain.  I advised the rep I didn't report a stain I report urine smell in the sofa. I called Jason Feril to advise him of what the rep at the protection plan told me, that was on 3/22/23. He stated he would take care if the issue.  As of 4/21/23 I haven't heard from Jason or the protection plan company.
The sales person lied to me about the sofa being able to handle pee and I paid $249.00 for the protection plan the is useless and have a sofa that smells of pee.

Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience with Turner's Fine Furniture in Thomasville. I purchased a sofa from their store after being explicitly told by the salesperson, Jamie, that it was made of 100% leather on all sides of the couch. This was a major factor in my decision to buy, as I needed something durable and long-lasting, especially to protect against cat scratches. We had informed Jamie that we had just left a previous store because they did not have couches that would withstand cat scratches. The other store had the honesty and integrity to inform us that they did not have a product that could satisfy what we were looking for. With all this information, the salesman knew exactly what type of material we were looking for.
Trusting the information provided by Jamie, I made the purchase. However, it turns out this was not the case. The material is clearly not all leather, as it started showing marks from minor cat scratches—something that genuine leather would withstand much better. I would never have made the purchase had I been informed that the couch was not 100% leather on all sides. This misinformation has not only resulted in a product that fails to meet my needs but has also shattered my trust in Turner's Fine Furniture.
I reached out to them requesting a full refund and the opportunity to return the sofa, but the situation has yet to be resolved to my satisfaction. I am deeply disappointed by the misleading sales practices and the lack of accountability from this business. I had hoped for a swift and fair resolution, but instead, I am left with a product that does not live up to what was promised. Buyer beware – ensure you get all product claims in writing before purchasing from Turner's Fine Furniture.
I EXPECT MORE HONESTY AND INTEGRITY FROM A REPUTABLE STORE!!! I would not recommend shopping here if you're looking for truthful product descriptions and value...
