It’s refreshing to know we have a knowledgeable and honest AC repair person in Sabine County. I got home from work Friday evening and noticed my AC was not cooling. I called a company to come check it out. They tested the unit and told me my compressor was out. They said that I needed a new unit for the price of $8,900. I called Gonzalez AC for a second opinion. He quickly came out and inspected the unit. He found that it was over charged. He quickly had my unit cooling. Guess what the charge was? $0. All that he asked was for me to write a review. Rude customer service. I initially had repairs done to my AC by them last year, and it was still under warranty. We called, and he did come to repair it again (by the way we did pay him for his trip). After, three days my outside unit completely went dead. I called back, and they wanted to charge me a service fee just to come and look at it again. I didn't agree having to pay again, and told him that his receipt says that his labor is under warranty for thirty days; he didn't take it too kindly, so he began to get loud with me. From my experience the Gonzalez business is unprofessional, and does poor quality work.

Our AC/Heating went out about a week ago. Called another company in our county and after paying the $85 service fee, our issue was MISdiagnosed. We were lead to believe that we simply needed a new thermostat (in which we had to buy and install on our own). Which was NOT the case. Leading to further damage and still no solution. We called GONZALEZ and they promptly responded and showed up to the rescue! For a very affordable price that COULD have cost us an arm and a leg, they replaced the thermostat, damaged contactor, a blown transformer and a blown fuse and explained in great detail every issue that he was resolving!
