Goodsons' Supermarket — Local services in Pineville

Love this store but over the past few months it’s gone down hill. The past two months I’ve been in there once a week with my husband and he’s always been super friendly with the cashiers. There is a cashier there named Karen who has hit on my husband over and over. She smells of weed which isn’t legal to do while working. She touches him inappropriately. I have contacted the local offices about her and they have yet to do anything. This is extremely unprofessional. Touching another woman’s husband on his hip while he’s asked you to stop is too much. She has come up to him while I was in another isle and said we should grab drinks sometime. I cannot believe they would allow someone like that to stay there. I will be driving to Beckley or Welch get groceries from now on. Women be careful with your husbands...

I’ve been in your supermarket a handful of times and I’ve been very nice and met some amazing people. I started conversing with one of your workers while I was in there. Friendly. Nothing more. I’m a married man. Over the past few weeks an employee of yours has been rubbing up on me, touching me inappropriately and making me feel very uncomfortable. She’s asked if I’d be interested in buying pain meds from her and has flat out admitted to being high on weed while working. This is very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Her name is Karen. If something is not done about her I will no longer be coming to your establishment. My family is no longer comfortable and my friends have had similar experiences with her. Oceana & Pineville Goodsons are better updated than Welch I think.it may just be that I been going there since I was most likely in diapers lol! My mom back then went store once a month & that was it back in those days lol. If we had fried chicken & pinto beans for supper than hun guess what u we’re having after church? Yep!! I bet some days we had pintos & potatoes more than once a week much less any less on same day.Never was crazy about those pintos but til this day my aunt MARY loves her some corn bread & pintos.Me I’m lucky to count out & eat all 10 of my pintos but I can eat green lettuce & onions w/fried pork chops!!...
