We (husband & I) stayed 3 nights (April 2017) in Cabin B with our dog. We also had friends with kids (2 adults, 3 kids) who stayed in Cabin C. ||I'll talk more about B since that was our primary place.||||First off - Phone service and wi-fi. We have AT&T. Coming from Vegas, we had signal for most of the way - not strong the whole way, but we had signal. I also have another phone with T-Mobile, as soon as we left Vegas, I lost signal until we got back home.||Once you get to Eagle Valley, there is no more AT&T. ||Eagle Valley had open wi-fi, but it was spotty and not reliable. We couldn't get in 2 of the 4 days we were there.||||Cabin B: (smallest, cheapest cabin $82/night)||This is one of the smallest cabins they have. We picked this one because it is one of the 2 that they will allow a dog in under 45lbs. ||I estimate the cabin is about 120 ft2 with one full size bed and twin bunk beds (linens appeared clean). Also has a nightstand, small fridge (37 degrees), 3 burner stove (igniter didn't work), small microwave, archaic looking coffee pot and ONE ~10"x12" sink. This sink is your all-in-one everything sink. A little disturbing washing your hands after using the bathroom, washing your dishes, brushing your teeth, washing your face all in the same sink.||There is a small bathroom attached with sliding door. The husband says it's smaller than an airplane bathroom. Includes a short bowl toilet, and like a 22"x28" shower! Seriously, I can only lift my elbows at a 45 degree angle to my body before touching the sides. You can barely turn around! I'm only 5' tall, I don't know how a larger person would be comfortable in there. The other thing I didn't like was that they used a full sized shower curtain which took up more room and left me with less room. ||The water was HOT which is great, I know in another review someone mentioned the water looking funny, but it comes out of the tap with micro air bubbles which make it look cloudy. I left some out to make sure and it settled clear. There was no strange odor to the water either. (I do have to admit though that I did not taste the water, we brought our own just in case). It looked fine though.||There really isn't any seating inside the cabin except for on the beds. They have a set of (4) "TV dinner tables" for lack of a better description in the room.||The heater for the room worked well as it was snow flurries the first night we were there!||Outside they have fire pits and BBQs available.||||My biggest issues were:||||1. That the floors were not cleaned (and it's pretty dusty outside). I would've brought a swiffer sweeper at least if I knew how dusty it was.||2. The plastic blinds that were on the windows were pretty old and worn, missing slats and broken. We tried opening them and more of it broke off. I put newspaper in the window for privacy.||||Cabin C: (largest, most expensive cabin $118/night)||I know that the shower is bigger than in B, and that there is a separate bathroom sink (but the kitchen sink is still small). This cabin has 2 rooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin bunk beds. There is also a futon which turns into a bed. The rooms are located on the opposite sides of the cabin. The microwave is also bigger. The problem they had was the swamp cooler was letting in cold air. There wasn't a cover for it so they put a plastic bag over it. They had 2 space heaters, one for each of the bedrooms. Friends say they were comfortable in the beds.||||Facilities: ||Staff here are for the most part friendly and helpful.||There is a bar near the cabins with poker machines, pool table and a "store" attached to the other side of it. They carry only Pepsi products though :( and strangely, no hot chocolate but maybe they were sold out? The store has a lot of fishing supplies and some food stuffs. I believe you can also buy fishing licenses here as well. (get it if you're fishing because the game warden did show up while we were there, $245 fine if caught without)||||What can you expect from being out in the middle of nowhere? I would definitely stay here again, now that I know what to expect. The room was fine for us. Cozy is the word to use, I'd just like a bigger shower and...

Read moreIt’s definitely not a “resort”, more of a trailer park with cabins and some amenities. I could almost say it used to be a trailer park and then it was converted into an RV park with cabins, which is fine but come on ! Move the permanent residents in one area and have the reservable spots in another area. My family and I came with 2 other families, we all reserved full hook up spots which ended up being scattered between permanent residents. The reservable spot is just barely big enough to park a trailer/5th wheel and maybe 1 or 2 vehicles. Some of the permanent residents have their trailer on a spot that looks to be 2 or 3 times bigger area then we had. Along with 3 cars and a golf cart and rhino off road vehicle. The spot we had unfortunately didn’t have a fire pit or a picnic table , it seems some spots have them and some just don’t ? The rules for having a campfire are a little confusing as there’s a sign saying “No campfires as per state order” but then the person you check in with says a small fire is okay. But then permanent residents say no fires and give dirty looks for a having a small contained campfire. There’s a few dogs that roam around without their owner.. Another family that came with us had a problem when he left and came back to a chair set in his parking spot. He barely had room to fit to park. The neighbor(permanent resident, license plate says BAD CHECK) then came out and explained he needed room to water his nonexistent grass ! Very rude ! I guess if your looking for a place to stay if the campground is full it would be...
