My family and I love to come here during the summer and swim. This beach and picnic area has a large roped off swimming area, small playground, large restrooms with changeing areas and BBQ pits so there is something for any type of outing you're looking for. No lifeguards but they have life jackets you can borrow and plenty of rangers patroling the area. Downside is the beach can get a lot of debri as the water level changes ( rocks, sticks, and a mix of mud and clay ) and the water definitely will leave some discoloration on your swimsuit but overall it's clean and we always enjoy our trips here. Parking cost is under $10- for the whole day with in and out privileges ( it can fill up on holidays so go early to ensure space is available ). This is one of our go to beachs on Jordan Lake, definitely recommend you...
Read moreA nice beach to bring the family and partake in water skiing, kayaking, swimming, or simply lounging in the sun. There are several cement cove paths into the water, great to launch kayaks, or take have kids stand in shallow water.

When we were there a yellow boat came along selling snow cones. Run to it quickly because a long line will form fast!
Bring $7 cash with you for entrance fees, we had to scrounge around in car seat...

The water is muddy and you cannot really see the bottom, but I'm guessing it's the norm given the clay soils. The beach is sandy, although in a couple spots under water you can feel the underlying concrete. There is a grassy area above the beach (where the picnic tables are) if you prefer grass over the sand. Albeit there is little shadow, it is overall a nice place to...
