So our company is totally dependent upon FedEx for shipping our medical equipment back and forth to each other for scheduled appointments. I scrambled around and had two patients to work on, the second one in Pittsburg, Kansas and I got done in time to get over to FedEx to ship off my equipment and they had changed their hours from 3:00 p.m. back to 1:00 p.m. p.m. for closing for expedited shipping services. So I had to get back into my vehicle after already having a fairly long day and make a trip to Joplin to get there just a few minutes before they closed. And every time I go into the Pittsburg location, they never have the boxes I need, they hardly have any boxes for that matter. Our company uses a specific size of box and the guy at the counter has told me he has sent emails two or three times to have these ordered in and apparently no one is ordering anything for him. And this isn't just for the specific size our company needs, but even regular boxes like you normally see in the entryway in a FedEx, They just barely have three or four options. I got there about 5min after and it was all locked up. Security guard acted like I was asking for the moon when I asked if she could get an employee to help me. (Tiny 50+ ovrwt grandma that couldn't guard a muffin...) Then a rail thin scabbed up lady came out and said she'd take care of my package (oh hell no) and wouldnt be able to give a receipt. About 9:10 am Darius Sapton(sp) showed up and let me in to process my package properly. I said "good morning" he looked at me but couldn't muster a basic greeting. They almost always get returned to sender and never reach our address. When trying to ensure the delivery of our packages, the infrastructure of the automated system is so poorly set up, it’s almost impossible to speak to an actual human being and under the extremely rare circumstances that you use the proper words with the robot to even reach a person, they are little to no help at all. I have tried setting up the FedEx manager account multiple times and it never works or the information I input doesn’t get computed into the system. If you are a business owner or even just someone wanting to send something to a friend or family member, I highly recommend using UPS instead. They never fail making it...
