Dave's is the best sportsman and gun store in Western Massachusetts. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and are quite fair. The owner is a very understanding and well-learned man who knows what he's talking about. Although this store (like any other in The People's Republic of Massachusistan) is severely hampered by the unconstitutional and asinine gun laws of the Commonwealth, he does the best he can and knows how to work with them. His ammunition prices are fairly decent for the area but one can do MUCH better with a short drive to New York or (especially) New Hampshire. I purchased a new Weatherby 30-06 rifle here back in August & I'm glad I did. They ordered it on a mon morning, I picked it up wed afternoon, just 3 days. Fast, great service, knowledgable staff, very helpful. I purchased a Leupold CDS scope, scope mounts, & my ammo here as well. From here on out, they are definetly going to be my go to gun shop.
