Walmart is located along US 54 and just off Shetland drive.
Recently remodeled, this small Walmart now appears to be more like the much larger supercenters. It has a larger selection and more variety across all departments. While reinventing itself, this small town Walmart has managed to keep that small-town feel.
I would not go here looking for anything hard to find or uncommon. You will probably not find it here. But if you're needing common household items or food stuffs. This little Walmart has that covered. It has all the different departments of a much larger supercenter minus or with limitations in some such as fresh foodstuffs like produce and meat.

Read moreDiana at the service desk was very rude. I had made an exchange a few minutes earlier with another employee and received cash back instead of just doing an exchange. All lines were full, Diana was having a conversation with another employee at the service desk with her back turned towards me , so i waited patiently for her to turn around, i then asked if I could just check out there. She was extremely agitated that I had asked her to do that , she rolled her eyes and and let out a sigh. So I walked away agitated myself with her reaction. Tracy was the employee she was talking to. She could tell i was upset and she asked me to come to register 1 and she would wait on me. This is the 3rd time I've got an attitude from service desk employees. Just a couple of weeks ago I made an exchange of curtains and was treated like I was a thief because I didn't have my receipt by Shana lash. These employees need to be reminded ,they are in customer service and need to do their jobs without having attitudes towards their customers for asking...
Read moreI am a strong believer about shopping local if possible. Went into my local small humble walmart that is staffed with kind and courteous people today to get a card but also wanted to browse some of the new holiday selections. However, everyone in the store was freezing cold. People were complaining, staff had their coats on and I felt like I was shopping in a whole refrigerated store. My browsing was abruptly ended, too cold for me. A staff member told me that they had no control over the thermostat because it was controlled by corporate in Bentonville Arkasas. Evidently, they want to make the environment too uncomfortable to spend too much time in their stores. I also want to mention that this has been ongoing for awhile now and I had assumed that they were having HVAC system issues so today I was prompted to ask about the "chill in the air"..... Shame on you walmart, we want to keep our humble local small store but it seems as if you are trying to run off...
