First time at this smelt camps & sadly the last time for us... we had a bad draft through our shack spent 90% of the time clearing an inch of ice off the floor by the time the floor cleared our feet were soaked & frozen! We left 3 hours early after realizing there was no getting comfortable...we even tried rotating the 3 of us infront of the stove.... disappointing!

I've been going to bakers for 20 years with my family now. Love it. No, they are not the best shack's but guaranteed the best time!!! They allow ..you to enjoy yourself for an amazing night out with family and friends. Low keyed with a country feel. Thanks to all of our friends at bakers. Caught over...

My wife and i go smelting here every winter run. The bakers are always friendly and helpful. The huts are always warm when you arrive and have lots of wood to keep you warm. If you want to try smelting definitely give bakers a try. Remember to call ahead and make...
