I have shopped for my perennial plants here for years. I have grown beautiful gardens and their plants are very hardy and generally do not wilt or die despite the fact that I do not fertilize them upon transplanting. They have specific varieties that I can find no where else in UT particularly native to UT species and medicinal and culinary herbs. Their larger shrubs and vines are typically affordable and transplant well. The staff is unusually knowledgeable and helpful.

I've enjoyed going to Willard Bay Gardens the few times I've been there so far. It's not a huge place but, I personally think they have a great selection. I prefer going just before they get the spring shipment in and again toward the end of the season. Seems to avoid the crowd and I get to browse. I feel like they have a pretty good selection of perennial herbs that I like to go through more than just about anything. I'll certainly go back!

This nursery is the best one in Utah. I am an avid gardener in Salt Lake and I drive up several times a season because they have unique plants in varieties that I have not seen anywhere else. They do a great job. One year later they never disappoint. Licianthus, mini Asters, dragon Colombine multiple varieties of unique flowers. Worth the 2 hour round trip!

Great. I go to a LOT of different nurseries and this place is fast becoming one of my favorite nurseries in northern Utah. The selection is wide for how small the space it. Go for perrenials. No trees. They arrange the plants by height, which is helpful/smart. Lots of unique plants in small containers for a good price. You could maybe find a bigger plant for not much more at another place, but the way they do it helps with the budget...and plants grow, after all. And sometimes it's the opposite, you get a bigger plant for less at this place. Della & Barney and all of the staff I've dealt with are friendly, helpful, and actually know what they're talking about. Really, really,...

I love Willard Bay Gardens. First, I always like to shop from locally owned businesses. The customer service is outstanding and if someone doesn't know what you're looking for, they will find someone to help. And because it's a garden shop, they've always had the flowers, vegetables and trees I've needed. Peach trees planted last year, from bare root, are doing great. Melissa Crook was a big help. Flowers she helped me choose last year for my rock bed are blooming this year. I love them! There isn't anything I don't like about their products...

I love how organized this nursery is! They are my go-to nursery for 16+ years now. Plants go from short to tall so you can plan your flower beds accordingly. They have them separated sun to part sun and all shade so you know which area you need to be in. You know the native plants from non-native based on the pot color and the drought tolerant. Now I'm buying based on the humming bird category to feed my visitors real nectar instead of sugar water. I love the knowledgeable staff. I always recommend Willard...
