Butler-Bremer Communications — Local services in Plainfield

Butler - Bremer is great! Having lived in other area's with different providers you do not understand how nice is it to have them. Sure everyone is going to have an outage here and there but they respond quickly, which is something I can not say about bigger companies. I have used them and the other provider in the area and Butler - Bremer solves problems or issues within 24 -48 hours, while the other provider in town took 4 days to repair the last outage. When you call or stop in they are very friendly and helpful. Some people say they are expensive but until you are under a 1-3 year contract with a big name provider you don't understand that the price is pretty fair. I am glad they...

Just had internet hooked up today. So for the last 6 hours i have had to unplug and reset the modem 7 times to get internet service. 50 bucks a month for this? I realize i live in a rural area and they can not guarantee speed. But do you think they could guarantee service? I can't do anything online because it is constantly going out. Update service personnel came to house the in and out service has been fixed. Using it now i pay for 8mb speed but lucky to get 2mb. Never 8.
