I have been a member for the past three years and for most the most part has been pleasant. The main reason I joined is for the pool, so my grandchildren and I can enjoy the summer. My husband and granddaughter plays golf and the greens for the most part are great and understand this is your main concern, but you should also consider all of your members that enjoy going swimming and other things. I have discussed the pool conditions and water quality every year with the promise this problem would be improved. The conditions have not improved. The water in the pool is green and looks like a habitat for alligators. Of all things the children's pool is always full of trash and never kept clean like it should be. All of your members who have children and grandchildren play and swim. This should be very important to you as well as the golf course. There are a lot of ways that this club could be improved and it would really not take that much money. A better picnic area with tables could be placed out there. A small snack bar could be put in place for things like chips, hotdogs, corndogs hamburgers, candy and drinks. A few more tables and chairs around the pool area would be great. This would improve the quality and function of the club and these would be beneficial to all club members who would enjoy , I'm sure. If these small changes could be improved, I feel this would attract more members and bring more money in. The old saying goes it takes money to make money. Not only in a member, but three of my family members are members. I hope these problems will really be given...

Came out to the course today to enjoy some time with family after grieving the loss of a family member. Course associates allowed us to PAY and play as a group of 5. While we were playing we did not slow the pace of play. We were courteous to other golfers and allowed them to play through if need be. While finishing hole 8, a “Board Member” drives up to us on a golf cart. I greeted him politely and he said to me very angrily, “Course policy is no fivesomes on the weekend. Y’all need to break this group up now!” We parked our carts once we finished the hole and allowed him to play through. My group arrived on the tee box of hole 9 and we were stopped by another associate who said that we could either break up the group or leave the course. Having not completed 9 holes we proceeded to the clubhouse for a refund. We were aggressively confronted by said “Board member”. He was yelling angrily stating, “I will uphold the standards of this course!” In a threatening manner he stepped towards my father and I and continued to yell about course policies. Following that confrontation we said that we will leave the course and not return, but requested our money back but we were sadly refused.

The “Board member” would not provide his name. It is a shame that one of the few recreational facilities in this area would treat locals in such a way. Green acres lost 5 paying...

Came into town to see some friends and went to go play some golf early in the morning. Unfortunately this was the worst golf experience I have ever had. The course is mid at best and overpriced. Plus the staff was rude from the get go. However we were kind the entire time. As we played through we were behind a group of four older women that were playing slow (understandably) and by the 6th hole our second group had caught up to us naturally. We weren’t teeing off as 8 we were simply just waiting together for the group in front of us to get out of range. Within 5 minutes of us waiting together someone showed up and told us to leave. We pointed at the group in front of us that was still in our range and the person said he understood but that we still had to leave. The two older gentleman that we got paired with defended us to the person but he wouldn’t budge. As soon as we got back we went to the shop and explained ourselves and showed pictures of how close the group in front of us was. They proceeded to blow us off and threatened to call the cops. So we left after overpaying for 18 holes when we got to play Totally ridiculous would give them 0 stars...
