Hwy 92 Used Appliances — Local services in Plant City

We are new to the area and figured we would give this local spot a try. We weren't given any privacy to talk over our finances or our thoughts and anything. We were followed around the entire time and honestly felt a little pressured to making a purchase. After purchasing a washer and dryer from them 5 weeks ago (August 19th) we are extremely disappointed. Calling within 24 hours of purchase to report the dryer not drying the clothes, we were told the dryer has to be used on timed dry only and we usually have to run twice to dry anything fully. The washer had a smell before we purchased it but they assured us once we ran a cycle it would go away, that it was just from it sitting there for a while before we decided to purchase. This smell is still very much present. Clothes do not come out smelling or feeling like they should straight out of the washer. Our younger family member had an accident, we washed the blanket immediately and it wasn't until 3 washes later that the smell mostly came out of the linen. We do not use cheap detergent and are using the proper selections. Definitely disappointed.

Edit: Our set was more than affordable but if you would like your purchase to cost less come with cash or cash app. We were told we wouldn't be charged taxes if we used one of those payment methods. Unfortunately, we used a regular bank card. Our set was originally $480. We paid $20 for delivery and our total came out to $548.25.

Response to the seller's response: We purchased 5 weeks before this review was written not that it matters because there is no time limit on when I can make a review. The person that came out absolutely did not check the vent to our house. The only time they walked outside was to leave. You wouldn't have a message about the smell in the washer because I never stated that I called you all about that. This was a discussion with the young lady before we made the purchase. I also never used the word forced, that is your choice of verbiage. We were given a lot more information than just answers to our questions. Even while we were talking amongst ourselves about preferences and finances we were rudely interrupted numerous times to be given suggestions and more information on different sets. However, we were still very polite. We were only offered a new set a couple days ago, conveniently after I made this review. We both work 2 fulltime jobs 7 days a week in the daytime as well as overnight and it is rare that we get free time do deal with matters such as these. That is the reason for not yet making a decision on the replacment set. We simply do not have the time. Instead of being so defensive, which I see in any review that isn't 5 stars and details the issues, maybe take in the information that a customer is giving about their experience and see where changes could be made, starting with the in-store experience. Also, making excuses for literally everything is not very professional mainly when there aren't any facts behind them. Accountability goes so much further...

I recently purchased a beautiful washer and dryer with these guys! It was def a steal because we all know brand new washer and dryers lowest cost you’re spending $1800-2700 up front. I paid $580 and that included the delivery and installation. Now they have a warranty policy which I had to use due to my washer machine was not working, it had an error code. I reached out immediately, I sent them videos and pictures. Right away someone was at my house to fix the problem the next day. Now once we realized it was not something that is fixable they replaced the entire washer machine at no additional cost . They delivered at no additional cost, and took the old washer machine back with them and installed the new one. They answered and dealt with the problem right away, these are honest reliable people. I love this store. The customer service is amazing and the owner, Jose is very personable. I just bought a washer and dryer from them. I have been looking around for a long time and I have not found a great deal on a used washer and dryer until I found Jose , the store offers appliances at a very reasonable cost And they also offer warranty on everything that they sell and repairs. I don’t know anything about appliances, so it is very helpful that when the workers came to set up the appliances, they showed me how to use the washer and dryer and all the different functions.
