While the cabinets themselves are good quality, we couldn’t be more disappointed with the experience. When we first received the cabinets (16 feet including desk, cabinets, and bookcases) for our new addition on our house, there were THREE pieces that the color didn’t match. Plato’s solution was to resend those three pieces. Not everything. We voiced our concern with how they were going to match the color, but we were assured it would match. We had to wait and additional two weeks for the three new pieces to arrive.
When we received the new shipment of cabinets, they were YET AGAIN the wrong color. We yet again called, and were told they’d send three new pieces to match again. At this point, we decided we wanted a refund - as we questioned the overall quality control and lack of being able to fix the issue. I was told by the rep that there was no chance of a refund (we spent over $15k!!!), and basically all we could do was wait for them to get it right.
I called the HQ- and demanded I speak to the president. He did call me back, and I expressed that I was not satisfied and needed a refund. Or at minimum- a full set of new cabinets to ensure quality/color match AND, financial compensation for not being able to use the room for nearly two months, delaying furniture delivery 2x (and being charged to do so), and the time and energy spent on the process. He told me he’s connect with team internally and get back to me.
I then received a phone call from a different worker who told me they would be shipping a whole new cabinet set. That was the only small “win” we received. I said thank you, but asked is we’d be receiving some sort of discount and/or upgrade or SOMETHING, for all they had put us through. He said he’d talk to the president and ask we be called back.
I have tried 3x since to call the president (Craig) myself since we’ve never heard boo since. All 3x- no answer and VM is full so I can’t leave a message.
Sincerely disappointing! We spent a TON of money on something that should have been convenient, quality, and quick. It was none of those things! And the fact that they just didn’t answer us once we FINALLY got matching cabinets is terrible customer service.
