Cannot do basics like splinter removal. This is essentially a respiratory illness clinic. Everyone in packed waiting room was coughing and snotty. We drove 30 min to wait for over two hours and be exposed to a myriad of contagious illnesses for them to be unable remove a splinter right under the finger nail. The splinter was poking out of the top of the nail and just needed the nail cut less than 1/4 mm to pull it right out, we had soaked it already and tried all home methods but couldnāt get it. The provider had no idea what to do. The tweezers she used were giant and way too big to even grasp a nail, then she tried to dig it out with a 16 gauge needle without doing a block to numb it. The room was so hot my child was sweating and felt like she was going to get sick. I guess go here if you need a very expensive Covid test or antibiotic but for any actual āurgent careā this is not the place to go. After stalling by having us soak it more (we had soaked at home for hours already) they said the MD would have to do it and weād have to drive in the next day, but then they said oh heās not in then either, youāll have to come back and see a different NP tomorrow. Yeah, I donāt think so. Just a horrific situation and I wish weād done nothing and stayed home. If my insurance gets charged or we are billed I will be escalating with the state and insurance. Itās false advertising to have this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been bringing my kids since they opened never knew the man we always saw wasn't the primary doctor there since we only went for urgent care stuff but all in all I loved the place and I loved the welcome feeling from the staff my younest actually only likes doctor because of the guy who she always saw there... my mom moved from out of state last year needed a primary due to medications it was hard to get her one Rashid took her on.. it got rocky many times I thought we had this under control after her last visit cause he spoke with my mom one on one but my mom was told differently yesterday by the lady answering the phone. I like her when it comes to my kids so don't get me wrong but only so many times can my elderly disabled mother tell me the stuff that they go back and forth about before it becomes a real issue! Ive never been in the medical field or worked at the front of a doc/uc or anything but never have I seen such rudeness to a patient.. she just wanted answers this time! Side note the lady at the front has told me the ways she's reacted to my mom in the past to and it's just not professional. Why push for a patient to stay if people are allowed to act and treat others however they feel? I will be going in tomorrow to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve gone to this urgent care multiple times for myself and kiddos and always loved the staff and Drs. Theyāve been great! Iām giving 4 stars today because the receptionist interaction by phone with a Sarah today. Her tone of voice (annoyed and unwelcoming) laughing, snarky comments the 2nd time I called asking her name or if she was new as Iāve never had an interaction like this previously with others. It does not give off a good impression for the business nor is it welcoming! I really hope phone calls are recorded and management can help her learn and grow from this experience. Being professional while working is important and asking the same question/mocking is childish. Even if frustrated with patients or whatever the situation, she shouldnāt respond in that...
