I have an Australian Shepherd, who at first was very aggressive and wasn’t very good with other people and angrily barked at people as they go by and likes to jump, & couldn’t even take him into public places, but one of my husbands buddies recommended us to Heath, for training, has helped our Aussie TREMENDOUSLY!!!!!! never been so happy with how well Heath works with dogs and trained our Australian Shepherd!! We just took our dog into Tractor supply for the first time ever and he did so well and minded his own business and did his own thing! that tells you right there how amazing Heath works with these dogs!! Milo at first could only go into playcare for trainings, but now he can go into daycare and play with other doggies with no issues and have no issues with the staff there, which are amazing as well! so friendly and nice to talk to and tell you how your pets stay was! i now can be stress free about my dog staying with FIDO and i know my dog is having a blast while being there as well!! While Milo was in training, Heath sent me videos of Milo to keep me updated as well which made me feel better about how my dog was doing! Shout out to FIDO & it’s Staff, you have helped my dog become the best dog ever and a better dog than ever before! THANK YOU!!!

I left my dog in their care from 12/22/23-12/30/23. Trinity left me a voicemail the day before his scheduled pickup requesting a call back. My emergency contact was scheduled to pick him up since I wasn't going to be back until late in the evening. She informed me that when she picked him up that she was told he lost weight. When I got home I noticed his behavior was off. He was lethargic, constantly shaking, his eye appeared irritated and he'd lost a pound in weight. On 12/31, I called to speak with Trinity but she was unavailable. I informed the employee who answered about his condition. She didn't seem concerned and said that she would have Trinity return my call. That never happened. I took him to the vet the same day, he had a bacterial or viral infection ( I can't recall which one). He's better now but his shaking lasted for a least 3-4 days. I was hoping to have a good experience with F.I.D.O since they were recommended to me but I didn't.

My boy is a beautiful 7 year old pit bull. He is more a “people dog” than “dog’s dog” meaning he would rather be with people than other dogs but even with that being said, he doesn’t Iike most people but when he does like you, he becomes obsessed with you.

I heard about this place through a friend and I am so happy with my choice to take him there. The staff was AMAZING and went above my expectations from the start.

The owner talked to me on the phone for 45 minutes about my worries and was confident he would be okay (I wasn’t sure if he would be dog aggressive or people aggressive since he was in a new area with new people and dogs). He talked to me about what they offer and we decided that trying their “doggy day care” was an option (your doggo can be dropped off as early as at 5:45am and picked up by 6pm).

When I decided we were going to try the doggy day care, I was so nervous with how he would react. Was he going to hate me and everyone there for taking him, was he going to be aggressive with the staff -cause he HATES the vet and anyone in the building- was he going to eat one of the little dogs or bite someone or something, I know that I’m dramatic but the vet experience this past week was stressful. NONE of this I because he’s a pit bull. I just know my dog and he typically is skittish of new people and animals.

So, we walk in to the facility, the girls are great. They grab a couple balls because Apollo LOVES playing fetch, then they sit on the floor and begin to bounce the ball to each of us to help Apollo build trust with them since he sees me trusting them. Eventually he ends up going to each girl, he took to a couple of them very quickly but then we added one dog. Trooper, trooper is amazing. Apollo did amazing. It took us over an hour to get him used to the facility, then it was time for me to leave. Before i left I seen that he could stay the night for $4 and they believed he would be fine. I was waiting for the call that he bit someone or another dog but when I came back with his food, I was given the biggest surprise. My dog, my stranger hating, unsocialized Doggo, was in a room, with almost 10 OTHER DOGS!!! He was loving life. He was happy, he was okay. I cried. This staff is amazing. They loved my dog from the start and accepted him without any judgement. One of them took my number and has sent me a few pictures and videos of my boy to ease my brain, these are from This morning when I messaged to see how he was doing. I think he’s doing great 🥰

I will forever recommend this place and stay so grateful for their help. If you are looking for help with your dog, a place for your pet to go while you work, boarding, training, behavioral consults at your house, check into this place. You will not be disappointed!! Thanks so much to the...

3/12 we had Jessica come to our home for a private in-home consultation with our 1yr old Golden Retriever. He was way too high energy, knew few commands, jumped all over myself and the family, scared the kids and was just being crated day in and day out because we couldn’t handle him. Our kids were scared of him and we didn’t know what to do besides rehome him and become failing dog parents. As a last ditch effort before rehoming him we decided to reach out for professional help one last time.

It’s now 4/6 and I swear we have a different dog! We no longer even have a crate up in our house. He behaves like the dog we always wanted! He has been to playcare at FIDO about 9 times now and we also utilize their daytime training while he attends. My in-laws are in awe of the changes he has made in such a short time and we are all so glad we reached out as a last ditch effort before rehoming him to someone better equipped to handle a high energy dog such as he. We use training tips shown during our in home consult, utilize play activities shown to us to help wear him out physically and mentally and our communication with him has gotten much better. As first time dog owners I wish we would have found FIDO much sooner. I wish I could explain how truly amazing his transformation has become.

We can walk out the door without being yanked. He jumps on us about 80% less. When he does he is quickly corrected and listens to commands. I can tell him to “go to the door, sit and stay” and he listens (big shock to my in-laws), he now snuggles me on the couch and lounges around the house which would have never happened before. He even listens to commands given by our 6 and 3yr olds!

My family and I recommend FIDO and the staff there 100%. They have proven life changing for our family. Did I mention it’s all positive reinforcement? Too many trainers wanted to put a training...

We were looking for a place to board our dogs when we go away on vacation, and this place was recommended to us by a family friend who lives in the Lancaster area. We live approx. 30 miles away so for us this is pretty out of the way. We tried ones closer but nearly all of them were "pay to play." In other words, if you don't buy playtime, they get 3 potty breaks and then it's all day in the kennel otherwise. Those costs QUICKLY added up and I just find that kind of treatment appalling. Here, they do get to spend time socializing with other dogs.

Our lab-mix is a bit skittish and shy, and the staff has worked with her while she is at daycare, so she has a good time with the right dog group. She loves people so they said if its not working out that day, she can just spend time with their staff. Our Jack Russell-mix surprisingly has no issues here.

So, because our dogs get to play and have fun at a great price, I give this place 5-stars.

The only thing I would ask them to change is their facility tours. The other places we looked at were more than happy to have a staff member give us a quick tour and answer any questions on the spot. FIDO does not do that and will not bend on this policy. You have to schedule it in advance, it is done after hours on certain days and for us who do not live close, it's hard to do this and that is unfortunate. Other places have pictures on their websites of the areas where the dogs will sleep and stuff, and I have asked for these via email and it's...
