Lawrence Orchards — Local services in Pleasant Township

Amazing place to pick apples. They have Gold Rush which are my favorite! Last time we were there we got to take the kids on a wagon ride and smash pumpkins. It was a lot of fun. The staff are always friendly and helpful. My only critique, as someone who owns horses, is the care of the animals. I think they love their animals, but there may be a lack of animal care knowledge. I have noticed a few welfare concerns at each visit, like overgrown hooves on the donkey and twine mixed in with the hay, which can be deadly for horses to ingest. I wouldn't let that deter you from visiting though, only mentioning in hopes that they will see the review and seek professional advice. All in all it's a wonderful place to...

Wonderful local family owned and operated orchard that does everything right. I have lots of great memories there, attending Applefests over the years and picking apples with my family. George and his staff are extremely friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to everything apple (and then some!). They consistently have the best apple cider I've ever had... no where else comes close. Definitely check out their Applefest in September if you get a chance.
