This is a good haunted attraction. I wanted to explain how it's set up because it would have been very helpful for me to know some things beforehand.
The parking lot is kind of small and sneaks up on you. It's a very small entrance to the lot, so be careful. And then once you park, you have to walk on the road or across a yard to get the actual attraction. That was a little unintentionally scary.
Then, you go to the ticket area and wait. There is a port a potty here if you need to go. I got online tickets so it was quick to get in. Then you go to the main attraction area.
Here, you can wait to enter the haunted barn once they are ready, or you can just hang out by the fire and shop for treats if you want. It was a nice place to just sit and enjoy the fire.
The haunted barn is cool, but it's actually an old barn. So be careful when walking through it because the floors can be uneven. They warn you about this. It was pretty cool with a lot of props. It's nowhere near as advanced as the haunted hoochie, but still cool.
Then you go outside immediately into the corn maze section. That was very intriguing. It was very peaceful out there and spooky because it was pretty hard to see. It was a little hard to figure out where to go at times, but the actors were helpful. We did actually go down a wrong path, but an employee let us know and was really nice about it. There are various stations in the maze with props and actors.
Overall, this was pretty fun and scary. It seemed to last a while, especially the corn maze. The actors looked like they were having a lot of fun too, especially the kids. I'd definitely...
Read moreWe paid almost $100 for 4 people, including the extra $5 per person for the hayride. I’ve honestly never been more disappointed in my life.
Waiting in like was a fun atmosphere, with music, scary actors, and a warm bonfire. This was probably the best part of the entire experience.
The first attraction was the barn. It was just walking room to room, with minimal decorations, and very few actors to scare you.
After the barn was the cornfield “maze”. You walked along a precut path through a cornfield to a handful of scare spots. Some had actors to scare you, most did not. The ones that had actors were just people in masks screaming “get out” into your ears.
After the corn maze was the hayride. And by hayride, I mean that literally was all it was. There were a couple skeletons along the way, but no actors or jump scares. The tractor had it’s blindingly bright flashers on the entire time, making it hard to even see around the hay wagon.
I hadn’t been to this haunted house in at least 5 years, but I used to talk it up to anyone I met and would recommend it as one of the best. Previously, the barn was dark with so many actors to scare you, the corn maze was a real maze and took a while to find the exit, the hayride was the best part with actors staged on the wagon. But, after tonight, I will never again recommend it, or return to it. Possibly great for very young children, but not scary for anyone over...
Read morePaid $85 plus service fees online for two adults and three kids. The parking was in a field and there were holes and a dirt mound which were hazards. Upon getting checked in we went into the barn. It was a typical haunted house with decent actors. After a minute though it became clear the actors were moving from area to area often seeing the same ones multiple times. When we exited the barn we walked a short distance and the fun abruptly ended. When we questioned why it was so short one of the actors stated it was cut short due to staffing and that was it. She said we could see the desk to make it right. After meeting with a person who appeared to be in charge, they took our information and stated they would make it right for is. This was supposed to come in the form of an email the next day. We never received anything back to “make it right.” Not even an apology. I feel bad for the actors, but don’t make promises you don’t intend to keep. Very disappointed after hearing good things! Will not be a...
