It would be very easy to drive right by this course and assume itâs a pitch and putt. It is not. The front nine is a pretty standard up north nine, but even more rustic (which I like). The back nine is phenomenal and so much fun. In the summer, at times, the greens can be almost absurdly fast which is awesome if youâve never experienced it.    Read moreI've played 15 rounds this year on six different courses (including The Bear) and Chestnut Hills has been by far the most memorable. Loved the layout of both nines. Nearly all the holes have their own "character". Good shots are rewarded tee to green (I'm a 19 handicapper) and you'll survive an occasional error. Our group kept saying how simple yet challenging this course was, we were in shock. Great layout, greens were fast and true, back 9 was very impressive. I highly recommend this course for some fun after getting beat up at The Bluffs. Only cons are the dirt cart paths, which is expected at a $45 course. Youâll be eating some dust if you follow too closely to another cart....
