Plymouth Motor Speedway — Local services in Plymouth

I recently purchased tickets to a concert at the speedway. I was one of the very first to buy tickets. I know that due to the availability of seats when I purchased them. I picked out four seats front and center of the stage at a cost of $324.00. Within a few minutes of us getting seated at the concert, one of the owners, I believe to be Kevin, came over and moved the people sitting next to us. He then looked at our tickets and moved us. Still front row, but clear at the end. As he did this, he explained that they had changed the seating configuration and that he was sorry and that they would do better next time. What????? This was so unacceptable. Our new seats were terrible. So far to the right of the stage that you couldn't see the entire stage. Not what I paid for. I asked a gal about the change and she said that the promotor of the event was her dad and that she would tell him that I wanted to speak to him. He never came to meet me. I sent an email the following day, but never received any response. Also, I was very disappointed in the lack of ada compliance. There is a very nice ramp that goes up to a platform in front of the grandstands, but only stairs going into the concert ground area. The only other way is around the outside of the track through gravel and then driving on the track back to the concert area. Afterwards, it was dark and there was no lighting. Very dangerous for anyone using a wheelchair or mobility device. I used my walker that day and had very nice strangers carry it up and down the stairs for me while I used the railing. Was my first time here for the Megadeth concert on Saturday. The way they have it set up for concerts is a little confusing until you’re there. The stage sets on the far side of the track. Then there is a pit right in the front of the stage that’s standing room only. Then there are all the folding chair seats, where we were. (You ARE packed in like sardines here.) Then you can bring your own chair and sit on the opposite side of the track. Then there are the bleacher seats. There are concessions here, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, etc. They do take both cash and card, but there are more windows available that accept cash only. There are only port-a-potties, but they are separated by gender. Getting out of the parking lot is not ideal. There wasn’t anyone directing traffic for some reason, so it was a little nutty. I did notice that there was a house near the speedway offering parking for $10, advertised as “easy in, easy out”. May have been...

Just wanted to update: One star is more than they deserve. I finally got my money back for the concert they cancelled. BUT ONLY because I disputed the charge with my bank. My bank got my money back to me less than 24 hours after I disputed the charge. Nobody should have to pay for something they didn't receive and my bank felt the same way! I've reported Plymouth Motor Speedway to the BBB and to every news outlet in Michiana. And have given poor reviews on Google and Facebook. Hopefully the word spreads that these people lack intergrity and honesty. They will never get another dime of my money.

Hope that if you ever go to a concert there that it doesn't get canceled because you'll fight tooth and nail trying to get your money back. It's been almost two months since the concert I bought tickets for was canceled and I still don't have my money back. Worst part is not a single person will respond to my multiple emails and...
