Trinity County Community Center — Local services in Point Blank

My dad, Roy N. Smith, and others in the community built the community center around the old CCC-built fireplace. This was back in the 1960s. I have all of the old newspaper clippings and other memorabilia from the big celebration held when it was completed. I stopped by about 10 years ago and took pictures. Nice to see that it's still there, but renamed. I'd love to have the old sign that said "The Roy N. Smith Building". It's fantastic that the county has developed this into...

A nice building to rent for a birthday dinner, or family gathering. The best part is the building is far away from the busy highway. So it's safe for children to play on...
