Hyklas Foods — Local services in Polo

Based out of Polo Missouri, the Hyklas foods grocery store is beyond ridiculous. Open from 8 to 7 you better not have a job because you'll never find time to shop here.🤦🏻 This is the only grocery within a 20 mile radius and can't even stay past 7 PM!!! THANK FOD FOR DOLLAR GENERAL!!! My family needed food and because of work I was unable to get to the grocery store for bread and milk until 6:50pm.. And unbelievably they were closed. Not only this "time" problem, but; the prices are astronomicaly high. No grocery store in Missouri is as expensive as this grocery store.. I've been everywhere.. And have given many wonderful reviews..I am sorry for the bad review, but; not sorry. This is crazy! How can the Mayor or the city even allow this to happen. They closed for Superbowl, I couldn't get hotdogs because they were Closed for the most ridiculous reasons.🤦🏻 I am a city resident and absolutely refuse to shop here anymore. Thank you Dollar General for being open long enough for folks to work, come home and still be able to buy a gallon of milk. Hyklas I pray you can make some adjustments and become a decent grocery store so these poor folks cannot only afford your food, but; make it there in time to buy dinner for there family. I'll be shopping in the cities surrounding us from now on. Good luck...

Hyklas Foods! so classy they can't even spell it right 😉! jk this place is located in 3 small towns about 45+ mins from kcmo! so with that being said... it's prices are usually higher than hy-vee or price choppers but bc it is so close to your house you can't help but shop there! and hey I am into helping out local businesses and screw walmart..but for real we help them they could at least give us a little...

It's closer than WM & others. A bit pricey,but not abusive. They have good meat, BUT, it has happened, yet again, that I get shut down when asking to get a ham shank sliced. 2pm on a Saturday, the guy tells me that he has already cleaned the saw. As I said, not the 1st encounter with the same guy. My rating will reflect my dissatisfaction...
