Brook and Blossom Farm — Local services in Pomfret

They are amazing. I used Brook and Blossom for my wedding flowers and it is definitely a less traditional wedding flower route, but if you are open to a more DIY situation I highly recommend. I provided the general color scheme and told Heather I loved dahlias - and that was really it! Everything else was low touch. I picked up the flowers on Thursday for a Saturday wedding. She provided instructions on how to care for them, and they held up beautifully!! We only had to get rid of 2-3 stems come Saturday out of hundreds. Heather made the bouquets and the rest of the flowers were DIY buckets of flowers with mix of greenery and flowers. The bouquets were STUNNING like beyond what I was expecting. And DIYing bud vases with the stems we had was easy to make beautiful. Overall a great experience and I was thrilled with our flowers - I made mini bouquets out of the center pieces for people to take home because I couldn’t bear to leave them behind!

Our first year with Brook and Blossom’s fabulous CSA, and am beyond happy with not only the high quality of the bouquets week after week, but the communication via email. We always knew about schedule shifts, learned about the flowers in the current bouquet, and read about all the work and joy behind the scenes of a family flower farm. I love being introduced to flowers I’m not familiar with- and that happened often this year. Quite often we had 2 bouqs in the house because they last so long. Picking up my flower CSA on Fridays has been the highlight of my week ALL spring, summer, and fall! The flowers are always so gorgeous, and it truly brings us so much joy to have them on our kitchen table each week. We often end up with two bouquets at once because the flowers from the previous week are still beautiful by the time we pick up that week's CSA.
