The moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff. As I e-check in before I go to any of my appointments, I was still greeted by the front desk receptionist with respect, and was called right back. The nurse was very friendly and professional. Once I confirmed everything n my vitals were done, the doctor was in within moments. Which was also very professional and friendly. She (Dr. Ziller) made she I knew the process of the procedure (IUD removal) I was having done today, and during the procedure she kept me inform with what was being done. During it my IUD didn't come out in one, which she sent me straight downstairs to have ultrasound. During my wait I ran to grab something from the store to drink and when I got back I was greeted at the door from which I believe was the chapel and right after the register nurse with my band in hand to put on my wrist and she also went to the check in desk to let them know I was there. Shortly after, intern student which was also friendly and professional called me back and had got me set up for ultrasound and then her and the ultrasound tech came in after allowing me to get ready, they answered any of my questions I had asked during it. During my time downstairs Dr. Ziller had called the on call surgeon to inform him what was going on just in case of emergency surgery. (which wasn't needed at this time) I had to go back up to ogyn-gyne department to see what was to come outta it, and again I was greeted by friendly staff and called right back to the room again. And was already scheduled for my procedure that I need to have done by the time Dr. Ziller came in to tell me what was seen and where it was. I highly recommend OSF hospital, and their facilities as I have been the Ottawa, Morris, Dwight offices and now their hospital. So I have dealt with more then one department and multiple people and had nothing but a professional, friendly, n clean visit and was comfortable throughout my whole time there. Thank you, as this is very important to me. Cleanliness, friendly, professional, informative, n...

So, I asked if I was too late to be a walk in for lab work. She answered no, then she said with a very distinct scowl, what's your date of birth, what's your name? I kept calm and gave her the requested information. After accessing her computer, (the clerk, who had her name tag on backwards) informed me of an order from my primary care doctor, which know isn't due until next month. I told her it was too early for me to have that order done. I gave the doctor's name that the order would be under, she said she didn't see the order. What I found out later, is all the OSF hospitals don't share the same computer systems. I had the impression she was going to follow up with the doctor's office to get info or to get them to fax it over. Why, did I believe this, because she continued to register me to be seen. So, I sit in the waiting room for 20 minutes, where I'm called by a tech, who says there's no change and I still don't have the correct order. #1 This is supposed to be a Christian Hospital how do you have clerks that don't know how to be courteous and professional. Either her training was not sufficient or there's a personal issue that she needs to resolve at home, before she comes to the workplace. I hesitated long enough when I left the front counter to hear her greet the next patient in line with a "how are you today?" #2 Why would I be registered, sent to a waiting room, if there was nothing going to be done or able to be done, so my labs could be done. In gray areas, wouldn't calling a supervisor have been appreciate. Oh, was that what I should have done?...
Read moreMy doctor was dismissive, had no empathy and even though I spoke in plain English, when I told him I did everything he was wanting me to do regarding problems with my left hand and I saw the hand specialist as he told me to do, and that specialist sent me to Bloomington to get a high resolution MRI done on my left hand to see what was wrong with it and then go from there( and I have the disk in my possession with the images from that high resolution MRI), but I’ve unfortunately missed several appointment’s in Peoria because I am not fortunate enough to own a vehicle and I don’t have anyone in my life here in central Illinois to drive me there, he said I didn’t follow through on the things he was wanting me to do, so therefore he told me he would not help me by typing a simple letter explaining that I saw him in an appointment and that I was under his care and that he sent me to the hand specialist that I did see, to help me (his patient) in an urgent situation that might possibly leave me homeless. So I feel like my doctor is punishing me for doing as I was told by him and even though I did. And I’ll be speaking with the hospital’s Patients Advocate about this issue and a few more complaints about him (my primary physician) and one of the nurses from his office that in a 21 second long voice message told me 3 times “he is not”, “he is not”, and “is not” going to write( type up) me the letter I’ve asked as he’s already specifically said. Also I’m disabled and living below the poverty level and it will be horrible for me if I lose the court case that I need that simple...
