I bought my dream gaming PC from Digital Storm after much research and reviews. After seeing a review and benchmark by Linus Tech Tips, I decided to take the plunge and buy a new PC.
Digital Storm customer service was pleasant and gave me updates throughout the build. They offered 2 upgrades as they were out of the components for that model.
After the delivery, in (Big Lots parking lot, not at my home) the experience went down hill from there. My PC was going bad before my first payment was due.
All the repairs were covered under warranty as long as I paid for it. I finally took the PC to Bits & Bytes to be evaluated (ethernet card, bad drivers for GC and dead cooling system). It took a long time because the guys at Digital Storm evidently don't understand time zones and communication was sketchy. The guys at Bits & Bytes did what they could without a complete rebuild. I took the computer back, continued talks with Digital Storm about the PC. Their solution was to send it back freight ($400+ packing materials).
I took the PC back to Bits & Bytes. They tore the entire thing down. I even got a new case that didn't require a handtruck and 2 people to move. My PC works great.
I'm still fairly new to Poplar Bluff, so I didn't expect there to be a repair shop that could handle that type of machine. I hope these guys are in business for a long time. I will take every bit of work I can to them and I will recommend to everyone.
My new PC is beautiful, manageable and runs like a charm. I don't even think I've heard the cooling system kick in.

Also, if you want a high end gaming PC, do not order from one of those big companies. Have these guys build it. I have complete confidence in them to build...
Read moreI tried this business for a simple computer repair issue, because this business had been highly recommended to me. I told an employee that my laptop had sticky keys, and I was hoping for a simple cleaning job to remedy the issue. Without looking at my laptop or asking about what caused the sticking problem, he said that a full replacement of the keyboard would be necessary, and that it would be very expensive. Only then did he look at my laptop, and he repeated that the replacement would be necessary. I knew this was completely false. Only four keys were slightly sticky, and I knew why. But he had already made up his mind he was going to bilk me out of a large amount of money, so I refused his offer of an estimate and left. I immediately went to a competitor, which addressed my issue satisfactorily, and at no charge, to boot! I strongly advise anyone not to patronize Bits N Bytes Technologies; I can aver that it fleeces its customers. If you notice, I said that I REFUSED to do business here because of the employee's obviously shady prognosis. The employee said the job would be expensive without even looking at the machine, so how could he know? Why on earth would I return for further work? It was done in less than or about a week which is incredible when it comes to searching, researching, buying and then shipping parts and praying that the parts actually come on time. I received my PC, gave it a couple days, and it handled all the games I’ve been bookmarking to play when I had a better rig. I’m very satisfied with the work that was put in.
The price was fair, and lower than I initially expected. He was very polite and knowledgeable with the questions I asked and I appreciated the suggestions he offered as building a PC isn’t a simple task when it comes to parts and compatibility.
