Go there every day I'm on Daniel Dean's. Mabery Park Missouri Stream Team. It's the only part of the river with free access to the beautiful Current River. And across the bridge is where we take care of . And just to let everyone know. There is no glass containers allowed on the gravel Bar. And the fine with that and littering could exceed up to 150.$. Although the area is patrolled by Doniphan City & County law enforcement. It is opened by the residents on the West Side of Doniphan., Mo. So please help us in keeping your trash and belongings from being left behind. It's very much appreciated Thank You Stream Team member Angelia R. Rudd Cateel

The experience was amazing, the atmosphere was so beautiful and scenic. I knew it was going to be a truly fun day and it was going to be pretty but I never thought I would have that much fun going down the river with my dad in a canoe. It took us about 5 1/2 hours to complete and for beginners it was pretty easy and the current only got strong near the end, where we did have some troubles because there was a fallen tree in our way. But all in all it was a fun experience and I would totally recommend it to anyone wanting to go canoeing, kayaking, or tubing down a river, for anybody experienced or brand-new!

Absolute blast for a family vacation! The river is spring fed so the temperature of the water is 58 to 68 degrees year round. That might sound cold, but during the hot summer it feels really good. If you have kids, I highly recommend a raft as there is zero chance of tipping over and you don't have to worry about losing your cooler or valuables. The raft is a little slower than a canoe but you can basically bounce off of things and just keep on going. For the more adventuresome the canoe is the way to go, it does take some getting used to but it is fun. The views while on the river are just amazing, plan to see quite a bit of wildlife too. Depending on the section of river you take there is even a cave you can paddle back into for a little fun (it doesn't go too far back). Avoid current river on the weekends as it is a drunk fest, but during the week is perfect and you almost don't see another person while...
