I attended Pearl River Community College in 2006 and 2007 and found it to be an excellent institution of instruction. The instructors at Pearl River Community College provided me with a top-notch education and instilled in me the drive to pursue excellence in all of my academic endeavors. PRCC was instrumental in my educational pursuits. Because of their sincere efforts in guiding the paths of their students I was able to earn my A.A. with a 4.0 GPA. I later attended USM and earned my B.S. with a 4.0, and then went on to earn an M.A. and PhD. Because of the impact that Pearl River Community College had on my life I decided to seek employment there so that I could return the favor by encouraging and mentoring as many students as possible. Pearl River Community College serves a special role within the community, providing quality education to students of various ages and backgrounds. At Pearl River Community College the instructors and staff truly care about the lives, careers, and academic pursuits of...
Read moreIf you come across this college during your college search, you can stop searching for colleges now; you have found the right college. I visited this college one time, met with a faculty member named Mrs. Eileen, and was immediately convinced to pursue an associate's degree in welding technology. I wasted no time in enrolling here, and I'm now finishing my first semester. The coursework is rigorous, but if you remain willing to learn and stay on top of your weekly work requirements, you will acquire a wealth of new knowledge. Although this is a community college, it feels like a university: it has a large and well-maintained campus, the staff and professors are tremendously helpful, and your success is their priority, from my experience. I am likely to return to this college a few more times to pursue a degree in automotive technology, machining, and possibly mathematics or...
Read moreI am currently a student here and I am graduating this year. I started in 2018 taking a couple art classes for fun with one of my family members and I fell in love with this campus. It's beautiful, well kept and everything is pretty much in walking distance. I loved this experience so much I decided to give college a try (even though I have young children and comute from Louisiana). I started taking classes and my teachers here have made me love learning. I went from being a C average student to an A average because the professors are always willing to help and they engage you in class to make sure you understand the material. I will forever be grateful to PRCC for igniting an academic spark in me that I hope will carry through to help me obtain all of my...
