I came in for a consultation appointment with Shawn on November 27th to do a bleach and tone considering her work on social media looked very nice. She explained that she was busy for the whole month because of the holidays which I understood so booked my appointment for December 28th. I requested time off of work for my appointment and confirmed the appointment several times. On the day of my appointment, almost 2 hours before the scheduled time the salon receptionist calls me to tell me that Shawn was sick and could not come in that day. She added that if I wanted to reschedule I’d have to wait another month since she’s booked up for January, and there were no other stylists available. I thought this was very disappointing considering it’s not my fault the appointment was canceled, and if I had done this to them I would be charged as a last minute cancellation, but they can do it to me no problem and make me wait even longer. I lost money and time from taking off of work for them to basically tell me they couldn’t do anything else. To make things worse, Shawn posted on her social media the next day that she was at a football game, didn’t seem very “sick” to me, but oh well. I debated on writing this review because that’s not usually something I do, but I’m very dissapointed with this whole situation and I think it’s very unprofessional on their part. Shawn could have contacted me personally, but had a receptionist at the salon do it for her. Her work seems very nice but after this whole situation, I...
Read moreI spent $210 +a $40 tip at this place to go from grown out bleach blonde with brown roots to a natural looking blonde. The stylist Cindy bleached and toned my hair TWICE in a row and it is literally ginger now. It is so fried and frizzy now and hideous. I set an appointment to come back and have it corrected. After this I left an honest review on Instagram about my hair being GINGER and FRIED AND FRIZZY when I left (literally looks like a botched home job), so the salon and the stylist blocked me on social media. Then I get a call from the owner during which she says it will be easy to fix and she will do it. I set the appointment. The more I think about it the more terrified I am to go back to this place after my hair is already so damaged, I'm worried their spiteful attitudes will now purposely damage what is left of my hair. I'm so embarrassed to even leave my house now I look absolutely hideous with this awful frizzy ginger.
Edit: salon refuses to give a refund and threatens to "take legal action" for contacting them about DESTROYING your hair. I'll keep updating as necessary
Update: My hair is so damaged my new stylist is going to have to cut 6 inches off my length, essentially taking my long hair to short hair. This place is a joke, Cindy is a JOKE, the owner is a JOKE. They will destroy your hair. Then they have their employees (e.g. Molly Hendrickson, look at her in the reviews and in the photo of my email) leave them good reviews to try and cover up the bad ones HA!...
Read moreI'm not able to post a picture of how bad my hair looks right now. It's definitely not the true professional looking cut that I've recieved in other places for the same price. Hopefully they can fix my hair today but it seems like they just gave the first available inexperienced stylist with no clientele. Fingers crossed!
Just left. My haircut was so bad, they were not able to fix it without me going back to a short bob. I opted for a refund from how little confidence this place created in their ability to do what I'd originally asked for. I really wish I had the option to post a picture of my hair right now. The stylist that took me didn't wash my hair and she essentially cut it from the side that's worse and did nothing to the other side, then refused to do anything else. She then flipped my hair to the opposite side and told me just to wear it that way, so that it does not look as bad. I'm being generous in my review in not giving more details. My experience here is extremely...
