Lairds Corner Market — Local services in Port Angeles

During this pandemic this store is out of compliance. Openly flaunting the rules for customer safety. Have a sign on the door saying must wear a mask to enter, yes, but there is where it stops. Each time I have been there the clerk did not wear a mask. Nor did other patrons. So I chose to avoid them and take my business down the road. But today I dropped in, not sure why as could have patronized some one else. No mask on clerk. I wore mine and one other customer had one. As I left several more people entered without masks. Clerk stood right there and said nothing. This is very uncaring and most likely intentionally belligerent . I will be reporting them to the proper authorities. I am a local resident but will not ever patronize them again. The casino mart down the highway is better stocked, less expensive and follows the health department regulations in place...

This place is a life saver! Every time I run out of something and happen to be in a time crunch, I call the friendly folks at Laird's Corner and 90% of the time, they have what I'm looking for. It's a way better selection (in my opinion) than the closest places a few more miles down the road, and it's fast and friendly.
