I have been to almost every restaurant in the world. Few of my colleagues who are critics told me to go and dine at Kabob Grill. Yes… They were disappointed. But… I have ordered here several times before. I have to be honest, I am disappointed. I am especially, a food connoisseur! I also, look for quality of the service when it comes to restaurants like this. When I first walked in to Kabob Grill, in which I regret coming to. First off, it took around 10-12 minutes to hand out menu and refreshments with utensils. How in the world it takes 25 minutes to serve bread and salad before main course. Now, I have been to the most busiest restaurants like this, it took 5-7 minutes to be served with starters before main course. I guess you have to be a Muslim to get a quick and good service here. Go figure. Sure as heck the table of Muslim family received the best treatment. Note to the waitress… Next time when placing bread and refreshments on the table, place on the center not near the edge of the table to where to they will fall. Like the bread did. This goes to the owner. Please do note: You should do better handling questions and concerns about the quality of the service in your restaurant. Food may be good but not the best. Nevertheless, your customer service should be checked and handled accordingly. I have closed down many restaurants when I saw no changes for the better....
Read moreWhile the food was quite good here, I will not be returning. I joined friends for dinner and we all ordered the mixed grill. I ordered mine with salad and grilled veggies. The salad and veggies were outstanding. The beef was perfectly cooked and very tender. The chicken, while flavorful, was very dry. Overall, the meal was delicious. My issue is the cleanliness of the establishment. Not once, but twice the extremely long hair of our waitress fell onto our table and into my food. I literally held it off my plate and the waitress did not seem to be alarmed by this. It's been a very long time since I waited tables, but it used to be that long hair couldn't even touch your collar as waitstaff. When a server's hair is so long that it falls onto the table and into customers' orders, it is disgusting, but it is also unsanitary. I am certain that the health department would agree with my revulsion. The fact that the restaurant is lax on this issue makes me question how sanitary other restaurant areas are. I hate leaving negative comments, but this really is inexcusable. I did not want to make a scene as I was with a group, but hopefully, management reads this and...
Read moreWe came here for the first time on Saturday May 7. Now that the border was open, we were eager to try the food here. We've had our fair share of Lebanese/Mediterranean food.
It's very easy to get to and parking is a breeze. The restaurant itself has an old diner feel, which isn't necessarily bad, it's quite nostalgic. And it was clean.
The menu is a good size, various different combinations and what not. We ordered the vegetarian platter for two. The hummus and babaghanouj with pita here are top-notch. The falafel are also quite nice. The grape leaves are ok, the rice was a little too mushy and the leaf seemed too big, so it was wrapped a lot. Spinach pie was excellent.
The service was very good. The nice lady would check up every so often and was always making sure we had everything we needed.
We'll definitely be back to this restaurant sometime and maybe I'll take a pic of the delicious food next time before we gobble...
