Lexi is where your search ends. She is the perfect florist for your wedding. Here we go: 1. She took my families modest budget and made it look very lux (she has so many price options, from arranging things yourself from a bulk supply she provides, to vogue worthy massive arrangements she brings perfectly ready, and all combos in between…). Whatever you want; she can make it happen. 2. Lexi grows all her own flowers in her backyard. We love that for the Earth and supporting local farmers and all… but the surprising cherry on top was: having local flowers was something my guests were very amused by!! They really liked that detail of the wedding! Started lots of conversations. And don’t worry, the issue will never be “there aren’t enough flowers / options in her giant yard” but rather; “there aren’t enough dollars in my bank account to get as many of her sublime flower options as possible”. 3. People in my life who DON’T CARE about flowers at all were commenting on the “elegant, lovely, whimsical nature” of all my wedding flowers. I guarantee you, that’s an emotion you want to experience. Lexi is the wayyy. 4. Lexi took my 4 bouquet inspo photos, listened to what aspect I liked of each, and then crafted something SO exactly what I wanted (and had never seen exactly right anywhere else online). It was actually so flawless, it left me completely gobsmacked when she showed me on the wedding day. Like… I was expecting something amazing, but I was utterly blown away and nearly speechless. I just kept gasping out thank you’s at her. And she can do ANY style. And she’s gonna freaking nail it. 5. We didn’t pay her to do this, but she saw the people arranging the flowers on the ceremony arch were running a bit behind / were taking misguided artistic liberties, so she stayed and offered advice and a helping hand. That final touch of hers is what really made the alter sooooo lovely. In a way, saved the day? 6. Not to be ageist, but it was really nice working with a young, intelligent, hard working, cool girl not so far from my age. I was chatting with other golden years florists (before I found Lexi) and, I’m sorry, but the age gaps were making video chatting / general communication really difficult, etc. Lexi is cool AND will leave you feeling like you’re in the safest hands. 7. She is so prompt, so fast to respond, so organized, and still so nice if you change your mind about something 100 times! 8. I thought I was really, really set on having these few exotic flowers. Lexi explained what that would do to our budget (*scream inducing*), and then very politely showed how she could achieve the EXACT same textures/colors from a cheaper, local option. In the end, she always steered me away from mistakes and made my fantastical vision come true in a totally practical, affordable way. I could keep going and going, really. Hopefully the point is clear though: there are zero downsides of working with Lexi Mara. Every other florist option pales in comparison to her. She can work with any budget, so really it would be a huge (HUGE) disservice to yourself to not pick her. Do yourself a massive favor and book her :)

Lexi created a bouquet and boutonnieres for my partner and I's microwedding in Olympic National Park. I really appreciated Lexi's responsiveness, and her willingness to answer all my questions about florals for an "adventure" style wedding with lots of hiking! I also felt Lexi really got my "vibe" for the day - I requested a full, cascading bouquet of only greenery (no flowers) to match the scenery of the wedding location. I basically just sent her a pintrest board with ~10 examples pinned, and left it creatively in her hands! She completely hit the nail on the head with the final product!! The bouquet was incredibly stable, with a wire frame to help keep the greens in place during the several hikes we did during the day. Even though we strapped it to a backpack, and hiked with it for over 5 miles during the day, it still looked just as incredible at the end of the day as the beginning of the day!! Lexi also nailed my vision for what vibe I was looking to have. She had an abundance of ferns and other flowing greens, and even had dried poppy pods in the bouquet as well, which added really fun texture and color without being as "center stage" as fresh flowers are (which I wanted to avoid!!). I would recommend Lexi to anyone looking for florals for their wedding or elopement! She did an incredible job!! Photo is from the day after the wedding, so the bouquet it starting to dry out, but it was perfect day of!

Lexi was a pleasure to work with and was able to put together a gorgeous, fresh bunch of bulk flowers for me for my wedding this past summer! She had quite a selection of options, and I was able to simply ask for the colors I preferred and she made it happen! I was using small jars spread across farm tables, so I wanted to do the arranging ourselves. Having the option to get the flowers in bulk, while still having them complement one another, was really great. Lexi also provided us with fantastic boutonnieres, that looked just like the aesthetic that I had requested. I did not have a bouquet, but I am certain that if I had, it also would have been lovely. Pick-up was simple too: I had a family member drop by and grab them. I definitely recommend Flourish Flowers to anyone looking for some beautiful flowers near Port Townsend!
