This is the inside of the Tulip Cafe which is located inside the Hollander chocolate company. We were welcomed into a warm and inviting space with happy and cheerful employees. They have four distinct seating areas. One is just when you walk in with a bar and stools. The next is just past the counter with some tables and seats in a cozy room. You can also walk through from the entrance door into a backspace with some tall tables and a few chairs. There is also a an upstairs seating area and if you can't do stairs there is also an elevator that can take you up to that space.
They have a number of food options that range from savory to Sweet. The item I ordered was nicely crisped chunks of potato with a egg served on top and a nice sauce and pickled onions. My wife got an egg sandwich and she was generous enough to give me a taste. It was really good and had a nice amount of bacon with it and came with a fresh apple and some really delicious caramel sauce for dipping. This would be a great place to grab some coffee before or after a soccer game (since it's across the street from soccer fields) or just anytime really. I'm definitely going back to try a few of the other food options (the desserts look great too). Food plates range around $12 with drinks from $3-7.
If you are just looking for their chocolate or other sauces you can purchase them in this space as well. They have merchandise and those items right when you walk in the door. I'm looking forward to learning more about their learning and experience opportunities. I'm hopeful they will have in the future to learn more about their chocolate. So far this is a great way to open their doors to...
Read moreI like to go to coffee shops that are new or that I've never gone to before, and I always go in with low expectations just in case I'm disappointed. Even if I came in with the highest of expectations I still would've been blown right out the front door and into the stratosphere - the coffee was like NOTHING I had ever tasted before, the mood inside was relaxing and upbeat, EVERYONE there was happy and enjoying themselves, and the staff was amazing and kind. They did accidentally make a drink not to-go, but when we mentioned that they corrected it nearly immediately with a whole new drink made faster than I had ever seen. The price is a little high, but their largest size is the same price as something smaller from starbucks. Overall, if I could give this a higher rating I absolutely would. But I'm not able to, so I'm giving as much as I can. 10/10, will absolutely be coming back as...
Read moreI recently visited Tulip Coffee Shop, and it’s clear this new spot is going to become a favorite in no time. The atmosphere is warm, modern, and inviting — perfect for a casual hangout or getting some work done. You can tell a lot of thought went into the menu; every drink and pastry I tried was delicious and beautifully crafted.
Like any new place, there are a few small kinks to work out, but the quality and charm more than make up for it. The staff was friendly and eager to make sure everyone had a good experience. I’m really excited to see how this place grows — it already has all the makings of a...
