I've brought in a couple older 1970's COLT pencil barrels that were 16" to be cut to 14.5" and pinned & welded. Absolutely beautiful work! The last one I had cut/crowned/pinned & welded, caused me concern: only because the process covered over the "C MP B" marking, and my mind jumped to the conclusion that the barrel was accidentally switched; I started thinking all kind of things... Steve VERY PATIENTLY explained to me the process, and how the specially machined taper they added to perfectly set the split washer and A1 flash hider -out of necessity completey covered all barrel markings. I really appreciated the explanation (which set my mind at ease), and the knowledge he gave me on what goes into matching up flash-hiders on pencil barrels when cut down. -Very informative! Photos: both barrels cut (to 14.5), crowned, and flashiders (A1 & A2) pinned & welded. Thanks Steve for your professional & knowledgeable service.

I sent parts in too build an upper that were professionally packed using the same method sensitive equipment is packed. ADCO lost or stole about 200 dollars worth of parts including a rosco gas block and noveseke kx5. To add insult to injury when I got the upper back in the mail there was a large gap between the upper reciever and handguard. They don't know how to properly tighten an slr handguard it seems. Extremely dissapointed. I'm out hundreds of dollars I have to send it somewhere else now and have it checked over. I have to buy a new muzzle device. I wouldn't trust these people.

Came recommended to me by BCM for some minor surgery that my upper needed. Remove my old brake that was required by Konnecticut and install a nice new flash hider. Turn around time was fast. 1 week from the time I mailed it out to the time I got it back including the weekend. Great install.

Don't waste your time. This company wasted mine. Communication and better directions go a long way. ... ADCO states to NOT send a "complete upper" or they will charge you $40 for disassembly....and when I sent them my parts disassembled, they claimed I needed to pay the $40 disassembly fee after receiving it. Even though I already disassembled it... Because of this miscommunication on what a "complete upper" means, they're refusing the work unless I pay them more money. Which I refuse to do. I disassembled my upper to what i thought was acceptable. So I paid $18.50 to ship it, AND... ADCO is charging me to ship it back. All because I left my barrel on the receiver. If their directions were better, this situation could have been avoided.

Edit** Response. That's GREAT! Your directions should have been better to begin with. I didn't know you had to take the barrel off to work on it. Other companies don't do that. I've heard your company has gone downhill lately. Maybe your attitude and neediness are to blame. $40 To heat up a barrel? LOL. If I knew you needed that, it would have been easy to do myself. Instead, you begged for more money and to stick it to me for not giving you $40 more... you were GOING to charge me shipping but decided not to. How nice of you. What a great company to waste your time and money like that. You guys are definitely in the right. I'm wrong, and everyone who reads this...

If I could give Steve and Adco 0 stars I'd absolutely would. Paid to have a barrel shortened and he cut it an inch to long the first time and instead of rushing the order because he knew the barrel needed to be back for an even, he sends me ground labels and I barely made the event because the barrel showed up a few hours before I left. Also won a GunBroker auction and he refuses to process the payment. He even admitted he knew the other bidders as they were "good friends who bought from him for years". All bidders besides myself were local to him. Even called out the shill bidding and then 4 minutes later gets another "buddy" to bid. He now is threatening me with negative feedback on GunBroker if I submit feedback to him. He's a terrible person to deal with and he should have his FFL revoked.

Edit: Since Steve replied I'll make sure to add to mine. Steve you absolutely had a buddy bid because you yourself said it in an email to me of knowing them personally. Also to the barrel comment of still getting the job done by the skin of your teeth. Clearly measure once cut twice is your moto. Glad you can play off the fact you don't know how to use a tape measure and cause your customers more problems than you're worth. ADCO is a joke and Steve should quit his day job for being...

After calling all morning here locally in Michigan looking for a shop to pin and weld a few barrels, I had no real luck. I have 2 friends that have Adco do some work for them before with great results and service so I drove down on the spur of the moment planning on simply dropping off the barrels and paying to have them shipped back up after the work was done. To my surprise Steve said let me see if I can get them done today if you got time to wait. I was blown away, heck ya I had time to drive down why not. They were not crazy busy so he knocked all three out in around an hour. Now remember this was all perfect timing etc, so please don’t read the review and expect it, email ahead to make plans. I got lucky, the work was A+ and the price is so fair I felt like I was robbing someone. Btw they have a great selection of suppressors in stock and quality parts from most of the big names and if they don’t have it I’m sure Steve can order it right up for you. Thanks adco for awesome service! I’ll send everyone that needs...
