Pleasant environment, terrible staff. They messed up our order and refused to correct it. Literally stared at me like âblink blink blinkâ when I was explaining we received the wrong food item. Perhaps your window workers should write down orders correctly. 0/10 customer service. Not supporting this business after our Indiana Dunes visits.
Edit 6/14: Wow. What a response. I lead customer service for my company and we are ranked one of the highest on Trust Pilot in the nation for our field. I can assure you, managing your business and customer service escalations in this manner is doing more harm for you than it is for me. I am giggling over a $5 hotdog. Explaining to your team that the order was written down wrong should not illicit such a confused, disorderly, defensive response. Kitchen staffâ great job! You made a fantastic Chicago dog. The problem is my boyfriend did not order a Chicago dog. The man taking orders misunderstood him. But, alas, this Indiana local hot dog stand seems to be very pressed. Wish you all the best. Alsoâtelling someone they are not welcome back on Google is showing the world how you decide to operate. Please spend less time writing paragraphs on Google reviews and more time explaining to your team that listening to your customers who are saying the man wrote down the order wrong should be a very very very very easy fix⌠Yâall truly are...
Read moreA small Chicago Dog with a small amount of fries for $7.25 is a total rip-off. The Vienna hot dog has a chewy skin that once I bit into it, half of the toppings fell off. It's very messy and they give very few napkins. For that price, they should serve a larger quality hot dog. You can buy Nathan's Jumbo Hot Dogs at a grocery store for less than $1 each. Add the same toppings, including Vienna relish and Vienna sport peppers for around $1.50 total. Depot Dogs can purchase the same ingredients for less. That's one hell of a mark-up!
Employee taking orders was rude and unfriendly. Cash only with an ATM that charges more than most. No bathrooms? No sanitizers to clean your hands before eating! After all of the years they have been in business, you would think they could easily afford a small bathroom. Saw a young man going into the woods behind the building, most likely going to the bathroom....
Read moreJust popped in to this cute little place for some lunch, and after pulling cash out and paying $20 + tip, we waited for our food. My son went to go grab our food, but accidentally dropped the whole tray as he turned around to bring it to our table. The fries went flying and the dogs went rolling đŠ my kiddo felt terrible đ˘ ! We cleaned up the mess, and I went and asked if they could kindly replace our meal given what happened. We were told to get back in line and just order & pay again. No rules say that you have to replace dropped meals, but I have worked as management in food service for over 10 years, and it is always a nice thing to do to replace a couple of 50 cent hot dogs so that people think highly of your customer service and business in general. Itâs just a kind human thing to do. We left and...
