My roommate and I went in twice, once to buy him a SCX24, and once to buy upgrades. We couldn’t find the 24 scale right away so we asked the employee at the desk. She didn’t say a word and pointed that way. We thought it was weird but whatever. We later found there was another section that had more options that she didn’t mention, and we needed up getting one from the section she didn’t show us. On checkout she didn’t say much and was generally not too nice but also not terribly rude I guess. I went with my roommate today 3/24/2022 to purchase upgrades for each of our cars. We were greeted very nicely by a enthusiastic guy who helped us with all the questions we had. I can’t recall his name sorry. He pulled out the parts we were looking at on to the counter and explained everything I asked about, 10/10 best employee I’ve seen at any hobby shop. My issue with todays trip was the fact that roughly 5 minutes before closing(sorry for coming in late we just got out of class) she said “oop it’s closing time” as the guy was showing us to another part across the store. He was showing us a part we were likely going to purchase if given another couple minutes, as well as brass differential covers, roughly $70 each. My roommate and I got the feeling it’s time to leave and not spend out money here when she turned off the back lights. We were slightly (5 minutes total )after closing but we were about to spend $140 so we thought it wouldn’t be an issue for anyone. The guy who worked closing shift today is great! I Recently discovered this hobby shop while searching online for some rc parts I needed that have been on back order for at least 1 month. They had everything I needed and they were priced right. Excellent Customer service and very knowledgeable. I contacted Hobby Sports for a 2nd time today because of how i was treated the first time. I'm sorry i can't recall the name of the person i spoke with. Today I spoke with Tad and it was another Great experience, he treated me very well and they have a great selection to chose from. I highly recommend checking this business out and if you are local to the area I'm told they have a great outdoor track. I certainly will be checking that out next spring. I really appreciate that they are supporting 'toys for tots' this holiday season, buy a toy to donate and get 50% off. How cool is that? They are giving back to the community they do business in....

Last customer appreciation day I spent two weeks cleaning and getting RC cars ready for their swap meet. When I arrived, prior to the store opening, it was absolutely pandemonium. No place to park. No place to setup tables I was promised. The dude running the show up front didn’t care about my situation or have any idea/desire to help.

Prior to this event folks at the store have been nice but I constantly overhear them talking about how bad the owner is. Forcing them to watch customer service videos, etc.
