We stayed in a group site on snowhill. It was well taken care of, and far from other sites. It was super quiet and some interesting trails around to hike. No cell reception, truely off the grid which is super nice when looking for some peace and quiet. My husband came across a black bear who seemed pretty uninterested and ran off thank goodness. We enjoyed visiting the Garlic Festival at Shawnee Ski Mountain and exploring the very large forest area. Ran into the ranger when taking our picture at the sign, but other than that didn't see anyone else. A few cars pass once in a blue moon.
