its not just a store... its an experience. frankie, the kid working there is young but you can tell, he heard a lot about pipes and cigars growing up. i ask a ton of questions and he is ready for them. jm is the same way, i mentioned beimg a painter to him once and he just today asked not painting today? walmart doesnt remember that. amd its not like boswells isnt busy, they need a revovling door. this is what makes me like this establishment more than any other establishment ive been to in years, if ever... when you walk in, you are immediately greeted by smiling faces, happy to help you get what you are looking for. you feel like you walked into a cozy comfort zone. and dont even get me stsrted on the lounge..., frankies always ready to clip a cigar for you to enjoy in the lounge, and he brings hot coffee. again... its not just a store... its an experience. if i could give 6...

Stopped here on8/9/25. This is the third time I've been here. Usually there is a young man behind the counter, the owners grandson. He is a very likeable young man and likes to chat it up. The second time I stopped I bought a few cigars, they have a nice selection. This time J. M. was behind the counter. He is a premier pipe maker and an awesome man to talk to, makes you feel more then welcome to be in his awesome store. I bought a new pipe, some tobacco and some cigars. I don't have a J M. Boswell pipe yet but there are some great pipes that he has crafted. There is also a Boswell pipes in Chambersburg Pa that has an even larger selection of cigars. The staff there are great also.
