Seven Oaks Market and Grill was an unexpected oasis for two slightly off-course Southern Californians emerging from the Trail of 100 Giants. Not terribly lost—let’s call it directionally adventurous. With no cell service and maps that felt more like riddles, we rolled into Seven Oaks like pilgrims in search of snacks and clarity.

Leann was our trail angel. With a smile and sweet tea that could revive a ghost, she handed us ice-cold drinks and perfectly clear directions to Three Rivers. Honestly, Google Maps could never.

While Pine Flat may not have a lake (we checked twice), it does have a grill, good people, and enough small-town charm to reroute your attitude. We might not be back soon, but we’ll be forever grateful. And yes, we’ll always trust someone named Leann with a sweet tea and a sense of direction.

This place is a savior for tourists. From kernville to ducor to 100 giants trail there was absolutely no store available in Feb . This was the only place and a good place that is open in the surrounding 60 square miles. It has everything that you will need for the trip and more. People here are very kind and friendly. This place is just 0.5 mile from the T junction when you arrive from Ducor to MT 50 road. There is a small clean restroom and a nice little restaurant .. please note they have timings for restaurant. Coffee is good.
