My experience at the school was fine. Nothing review-worthy. However, after becoming an alumni, I would never recommend anyone go here. The first time I needed a transcript was shortly after graduating over 10 years ago. Something went wrong (I don't remember what) and I had to physically go in to the registrars office to get it fixed. Now today, I've spent over 3 hours on the phone, a zoom call, and email, and ultimately was told I have to pay for an official transcript, even though I only need an unofficial one. You see, apparently my 11 year old account is "so old", it doesn't exist in their new security system, and no one in IT knew how to get me access to my account to request an unofficial transcript. So I called the registrars office. They are literally the office in charge of my information. Surely they can send it to me. No. They "legally" can only send an official transcript. And no, they won't waive the fee. I'm not really upset about $8.50. But let this be a warning to all who consider going here: you'll be at this school for a few short years. You'll be potentially applying for jobs that will need transcripts for the next 30 years. They will update their system many times throughout, your information will not transfer over smoothly, and they will not step a toe out of line to help you. (BTW, it took 2 minutes to get my transcript from my other...
Read moreI attended classes here for 3 semesters. The campus is beautiful and very good sized. It's easy to get around campus and it's very peaceful. Most professors I worked with were very good and I did well. It is very expensive to attend this school even though I had a scholarship. The forced meal plans are very annoying. I have medical issues and I could not eat any of the food made on this campus. I was still forced to pay for the cheapest meal plan and could not get a refund or have the funds transferred to the next semester. They didn't offer any programs I wanted to take which is fine I didn't realize what I wanted to major in. If you want to go here this school is very good for medical and nursing majors. The biggest problem I had was the culture. I come from a very religious state and was hoping to go to a school that is normal. This was not the case here. It's a very religious school with annoying religious rules. I made 0 friends and was constantly harassed by other people in my dorm. Overall the school is fine in every way and wonderful if you are a rich religious...
Read moreI attended this university for two years before COVID. Firstly, the good, the campus is beautiful, the social atmosphere is GREAT and you get a chance to actually know your professors. Now, the bad, during my time there, there were many students who left for reasons of affordability alone. This school often says they care about you, but I doubt it is true. I asked the financial aid office if they could provide any additional assistance, as both my parents had lost their jobs due to COVID. They didn't even bother replying. The also evicted all the students illegally when COVID started, giving us only a few days notice when Oregon requires at least 10 days notice. Lastly, the academics, the majority of my high school academics were more rigorous than the business school here. My hardest classes were theology classes. For the amount you have to pay, dont go here, go to PSU, and get a similar experience for...
