If you visit Graeagle and don't stop into Wild Pines you are seriously missing out. Liz has cultivated such an incredible assortment of local artisan goods that she is constantly updating with fresh and new pieces. I am delighted every year to see new artists works and the artists she carries year after year are always trying new things and creating amazing new pieces. Not only does Liz have the most interesting selection of gifts, jewelry, skin care etc that ensure you will absolutely find something for yourself or a gift for someone you love, but she is also a wealth of information about what is new and happening in the area. She adds such a tremendous value not only to the visitors who flock to her store in droves but also to the community at large for the recommendations she gives for the best ice cream, hikes, etc. I haven't even talked about the amazing art classes she hosts in the Summer and of course her amazing shop dog Cheddar. Trust me, you don't want to miss...

True story: I recently purchased a beautiful hand painted waist purse from Wild Pines and when I got home I could not find it anywhere! Several weeks later I started calling the little shops on the cozy Graeagle shopping strip and one store said, “oh, I think the shop you are looking for is Wild Pines.” When I called Wild Pines, in a wild guess that maybe I had purchased it and left it sitting on their counter, I discovered that I HAD left it on a counter… of a neighboring store, The Briar Patch, and that they brought it over to Wild Pines in hopes that the owner would find it! Wild Pines saved it for me, hoping that I would call them… now they are mailing it to me, free of charge. Good Grief. It takes a village and CLEARLY this is a GREAT one! Wow!! Walking into Wild Pines is like walking into your favorite neighbor’s home!! It’s so inviting and warm. We were greeted by the owner, Liz with an incredible welcome! Liz has created one of those spaces we all look for and crave in a quaint mountain town. She brings the mountain community together in a special way. Wild Pines has jewelry, art, ceramics, and so much more all created by local artisans as well as Liz herself. It’s the perfect place to find unique gifts, something special for yourself and wonderful little things you might be looking for to make your mountain stay even better. We make sure to always stop in Wild Pines whenever we are in Graeagle as the merchandise is constantly changing. We love ordering online and know Liz gets our items in the mail pretty quick.
