Wade and Annie went above and beyond for my family. He was always so calm and relaxed, even when I was most frantic. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me, and while the selling price was low (a fixer upper, to say the least), Wade treated me just as if the house was selling for a half a million. You would never have known the difference, which says a lot about his integrity. Not only that, but as I was out of state before and during closing, he and Annie finished cleaning out the house for me! He had told me that some buyers like things left behind, and even though I spent all summer cleaning it out, I just couldn’t get through 40 years’ worth of stuff. I almost did, but there was still a decent pile and some furniture. He tricked me but in the nicest way possible. He allowed me to calm down and relax since I was going to be gone and had no one helping me, all the while secretly planning to take care of my troubles. He was super communicative as well, always willing to talk to me about any questions before signing documents. No matter whether you’re selling or buying, these lovely humans will work FOR you. They are good people with kind hearts who work their tails off to make their clients’ lives easier and the transition go smoothly. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you,...
Read moreWe knew next to nothing about purchasing a home when we enlisted Wade Eckenrod's services last year. Rather than taking advantage of our naievity for a quick sale, Wade showed us all over town, explaining the pros and cons of each neighborhood. He developed an intuitive understanding of what we were looking for. He soldiered through 35 or so prospective houses before we found the one, and then he hooked us up with a great inspections guy. He worked around our schedule to make sure he was always available for us. I really can't say enough about Wade's work ethic and honesty. He's also an easy guy to be around--an important trait when you must spend dozens of hours with a stranger. Wade has the local knowledge, the years of experience, and the personality to get the job done. He may also cook for you when you...
Read moreBuyers beware. They do not make sure the home is in broom sweeping condition. Now they may or may not know the seller leaves the home this way, but that is part of their job. They are nice in person, but if you buy a home from them expect to be cleaning the home from top to bottom as if someone lived there for months and didn’t clean. If you have asthma (like me) definitely make sure that this is the in closing agreement because the cleaning caused my asthma to react negatively due to how the seller left the home. This has costed me extra for cleaning and duct services due to this.
As well, this may be something they themselves are not aware their clients are doing. So now they know.
Happy buying everyone :)
