Bide-A-Wee is one of the best deals around. The layout has character and the course conditions are always much better than average. Maybe not top tier level but given what you’re paying here you won’t be disappointed. Two specific points though. First, the greens have been aerated very recently so expect to be playing Plinko on the greens for a couple weeks. Obviously I’m not dinging the course for performing proper maintenance, just letting you know what to expect. Second, the bunkers here are the only thing I’d say aren’t in great shape but keep in mind many are considered waste bunkers. In other words, at least some of them are designed to be...

I have been playing bide-a-wee for about 20 years now. The course and grounds are in great shape, my only complaint is the over booking and the lack of effort by the marshals to do anything about the pace of play. I have found that I have to try to catch iffy weather or odd times to get in a decent round of golf these days. More than once I have had to talk my way into a rain check because of the crowd. My last experience there was a 6 hour round of golf that was backed up 2-3 groups on every tee box. Space out the tee times. Turn some people away. Manage the crowd. It was once my favorite local course but unfortunately it's a...

This is the type of course that an old spirit looks for. It is a place where time hasn't affected the golf pro or the day to day interactions of people as a whole, it is as if you walk into the fifties. They are kind, very kind, and seem to genuinely want to propel golf and all of it's time honored traditions. Traditions like character, courtesy, honor, and good ole tom foolery. I am 29 and must say this is my favorite of any golfing "atmosphere" I've experienced yet. The prices for what you get can't be beaten and it is a nice up and coming facility. Class act Mr. Andy, and a classy operation. My hat...

Birdie on the Long Par-5 Thanks to Smart Course Management Long par-5 here. I pull 9-wood off the tee with out-of-bounds both sides—perfect middle of the fairway. Second shot, water left, trees right, so I play it safe and leave 76 yards in. Attack wedge to six feet. Birdie putt drops. That’s strategy paying off. #golf #golftips #coursemanagement #birdie #golfstrategy

Played it smart on this 458-yard Spark League par 5. Out of bounds right, so I took the 9-wood up the left—safe. Then a gutsy 9-iron from 250 to dodge the pond. Wedge from 109 leaves a 23-footer. Birdie putt tracks the whole way… but lips out. Tap-in par. Clean execution. Subscribe for more course management plays and clutch moments. #golfshorts #sparkleague #par5strategy #golfvlog #midhandicapgolf #birdieputt #golfdrama #golfaddict #golfrecovery #tapinpar

Risk and Reward on a Tough Par 5 ⛳️ Par 5 with trees guarding the right, so I aimed for a cut down the left. Found the middle of the fairway, though still 310 yards from the green. Played it safe with the 11 wood, just knocking it down about 100 yards to stay away from water on the left. That left 200 yards in, so I pulled the 9 wood and caught it flush—ended up just short of the green. From there, hit a long 40-foot birdie putt up the slope, rolling past to leave a four-foot tap in for par. #golf #golfshorts #golfpractice #golftips #par5
