I can't say enough great things about this place. It is our family's and a group of our friends' weekly go-to to hang out, catch up, have delicious house-made cocktails, and everything on the menu is tasty!

This is the epitome of a hidden gem with a small-town, down-home feel where everyone is welcome. The warmth and friendliness of the owner(s) and waitstaff are as amazing as the food and drink offerings.

Justin is the famous, fan-favorite bartender. They even name drinks on the menu after him, including a drink where he will surprise you with the ingredients. Think trust fall, but in a cocktail. The menu changes with the season and the themes and names of items never disappoint (the 90's theme for spring is a real hit!).

I wish more people knew about Three Crosses but also admittedly wish they didn't so it could keep its quaint and homey feel! I only wish they had longer hours (they close pretty early).

An incredible experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by Justin who recommended a delicious smoked old fashioned and allowed us to decide where we wanted to sit for lunch. Decisions were made and we chose the outdoor patio since the weather was pleasant. After ordering lunch, we met with John, one of the owners, and Kevin, the distiller and had a wonderful conversation regarding Three Crosses and the products they produce. We returned to the patio for lunch. My roast beef sandwich was delicious and packed full of both roast beef and flavor. After purchasing a variety of Three Crosses Distillery spirits, those not offered by our friends at the VA ABC, we departed. Our first visit today drove about an hour and a half just to check them out. Bartender greeted us immediately, a warm welcome from him. We sat in the farther room to enjoy a booth seat. The same bartender gave us menus and took my drink order. My husband is always the DD so he always has water. I ordered the smoked old fashioned and I am telling you right now, their whiskey hands down is the smoothest I have ever had. So what did we do? Bought a bottle. We also ordered the hush puppies and the cranberry and goat cheese dip. Both delicious. I could have liked it if the party next to us didn't bring their small child, for the poor thing needed a nap and was hungry. She opted to lay in the floor and scream. Oh well.
