Total Terror Haunted Attraction — Local services in Powhatan

First, the semi negative. There was a bridge out that was literally right by the needed entry & we were not aware. It was not on the page, didn't auto redirect us on Google maps, nor told to us when we called to verify info. With that being said; once we called, they we were extremely understanding, polite & helpful. They gave us different directions & we were able to get there no problem. It was however, 20 minutes more out of the way, which made the one way there, 1.5 hours.

Now the positives, (which are too many to list!) It's far out there, which is great not to have lights & traffic noise to take away from the ambiance. The staff is super friendly & fun. The actors were awesome, even just standing there not doing anything, was menacing & unsettling. I wish I could go into description on some of the top "performances" but I don't want to ruin anything for any future visitors. Even though this year sucked with Covid restrictions, they worked around them beautifully & brought on some much needed Halloween fun! Yes, it is far out there but it is totally worth the 3 hours round trip drive we did. Next year we will just plan for earlier & not try to do it after work.

Can't give this place, actors & staff enough stars. You guys are simply amazing & did this beyond our expectations! See you next...

No way in hell the reviews are real. I’m going to advise everyone to avoid like the plague. 1 it’s not scary 2 some of the employees are rude and have a power trip and talk to you like children. I’m going be honest with so many other great haunted attractions around area save your money and go there. You have red burn creepy hollow Ashland berry farm that are not far from here and all much better. The owner did apologize but apology’s mean absolutely nothing when money is involved. I spent 43 on tickets and 10 in gas so I basically wasted 55 dollars to not enjoy myself and to end my night highly upset. Of course you would respond with a lie I never did anything to your staff but it’s ok. Your response is why you will fail as a business and is a good indication of why on the weekend before Halloween there was absolutely nobody at your at your haunt at 10 pm prime time for a Saturday night so clearly I’m not the only one who thinks you suck. And I can assure you I go to every other haunt every year been to all of them in Virginia and a lot out of state and have never had one issue So thank you for showing that your a terrible business owner with your response. Once again I repeat my self if you like haunted attractions go elsewhere this one before the issue was pretty bad and boring so don’t...

Wait was not bad. Corn maze alright. A group of teenagers behind us literally ran through us. The girl at the gate got told over her headset to go faster. I do believe this was a mistake on their part. Would have been a better experience if she could have continued the pace she was going. We were too close to the people in front of us the group of teens behind us... well when we walked out of the maze... it was 5 groups that had made one. It was commented everytime we grew.

The house was scarier. If you're thinking of going, take a mask, dusty and mildew smelling. Which is to be expected from a building that gets sealed up for a year. (I am only assuming.) Just trying to let you have a great experience.

Actors were good. Definitely did not touch or grab. Placed nicely so they can come from any direction.
